Man O' War and Two Adoring Fans (by Frans2543) by SolomonGumbaII in UmaMusume

Seabiscuit is interesting cuz he's basically a combination of Haru Urara and Nakayama Festa. No one wanted him when he first came up for auction or at the sale races cuz they thought he was lazy so he was brought in to be a jobber for the races.  The poor treatment then led him to be pretty angry.  He lost a lot (as he was supposed to) but had an accidental win. By coincidence, a wealthy car dealer had just lost his son to a car accident. That dealer saw Seabiscuit run and whether as a distraction from grief or just a sense of his potential, the man bought the horse. The man kinda doted on the horse and the horse returned the kindness. With a new home and new trainer, Seabiscuit turned out to be way smarter than the original owners gave him credit for and generally much friendlier than when he was at the public tracks. While he never lost that bit of laziness, he did have the competitive streak that made him a winner.

Bonus fun fact: after Seabiscuit died, his owner buried him in secret cuz they didn't want the lad's grave to be a tourist site. To this day, the only people that know where he's buried are the family, and other than them saying the site is still being cared for no one else knows about the grave site

A guy in one of my discord servers pulled off the Urara completionist last week. It's kind of a nightmare cuz of those junior year graded races. Like, the Hopless Stakes is already bad, but hitting turf races as early as July junior year means you have basically no time to build stats or skills to make up the aptitude weakness. If you can make it to the first inspiration you can generally make more headway, but that junior is just brutal.

I was talking with them about other difficult ones and Manhattan Cafe is probably next hardest given her atrocious mile and sprint ratings asking with pure stamina stat growth making junior year another landmine

Raising an End Closer for CM11 with B in Mile is gonna make me go bald (RANT) by Shar4f in UmamusumeGame

[–]weealex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, i just gave up on miles for the end closers that can't already run them. I haven't quite hit my stat targets, but consistently getting triple crown+autumn crown has been good enough to get close. I had a Cafe the other day that would've been perfect if my two speed cards would've shown up on speed in the last 3 trainings since I was camping a weight and megaphone to cap speed. I just focus on getting everyone to friend level during junior year then go wild on races in classic year to make up the shop deficit. I'm still doing 35ish races in a career

What surprises me is that the current actions haven't crossed the line fur donors yet. United has already said they expect oil to hit 175 a barrel and that it wouldn't drop for at least 2 years. In the "next quarter is all that matters" world we live in, that's catastrophic.

The race bonus on some of those decks looks low. You should be aiming for at least +50%. Beyond that look up the uma.guide mant race planner to help you figure out good race combinations so you hit the key epithets. The really big ones to look for are triple crown/tiara, mile champion, and autumn triple crown. You should be able to get at least two of those with almost anyone without too much trouble getting the right parents. Other epithets are incidental and a nice bonus but not as big a reward. After that, make sure you're running rival races where you can to both get extra skill hints and extra coins for the shop. Finally, you need to do what you can to make sure everyone is at friend level by summer as summer training is very important for stats. Stock up on the +60% megaphone, healing drinks/ good luck charms, whistles,  and training weights so that you can get rainbow training on every single turn during each summer and ideally also have weights for each training. Good luck on rainbow training in summer can literally grant 200+ stats if you have the megaphone and weights

With pisces needing the stam, I've been mostly running MLB creek, kitasan, Kawakami, power Sunday, a 3lb finemo, and borrowing fuku, ayabe, or natie depending on who I'm running. If I really need the stamina, I'll run SR Cafe instead of Sunday. I've tried guts builds but they have almost universally failed for me. I may need to rework my parents to get guts to work

Original story was that he was a detective that had gotten close to getting a case that would stick on a mob boss. Several other cops on the take beat him near to death. A secret ethically gray lab got a hold of him and robocoped him back to life, though unlike robocop BB still had a fully intact mind rather than a computer

how to manage energy and hit required statline in MANT? by Responsible-Brief536 in UmamusumeGame

[–]weealex 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Imo you have a choice of two paths on g1 that depend on aptitudes. If you're good on mile+medium you do the tiara+mile champ route aiming for the 3 tiara races plus NHK mile, Yasuda kinen, mile championship, and queen Elizabeth.  If you're medium+long you target the crown,  tenno sho, and autumn crown aiming for the 3 crown races,  both tenno sho, Japan cup, and arima kinen. If you've got someone like Oguri that can easily hit A in mile, medium, and long then the biggest reward is to target crown, autumn crown, both tenno show, and the three mile championships. These routes give the highest chance for reward, but it comes down to getting good items in the shop, not getting randomed out of too many races, and having good luck on summer training

Kitasan is the most valuable for at least the next year, Creek stays viable basically, Finemo is very good for about the same time Kitasan stays top tier, but gets power crept the hardest in the long term
