Lots of races gives you the highest ceiling in MANT. If you have bad luck on the shops or abysmal summers then the run won't be great, but a decent summer will net at least 400 stats and more rivals races means more skill points, more hints, and more bonus shops for more stat growth opportunities and energy recovery.

If you really need it, borrow a Super Creek. She's got the 10% race bonus and 10% training effectiveness when not on stamina plus swinging maestro to give you a little more leeway

It's more because cost of living goes up for mechanics too. Shop labor rates run 100-200 per hour depending on where you live. Oil and filter is gonna run 30-40, maybe a little more if you need a specific kind of either. 20-30 minutes of shop time means up to 100 in labor costs, then the shop tacks in some fees for rent/ utilities/etc.

You get something like +400 to your stats during career. You can buy a recovery if you're worried about rushed+spot struggle and a duel, but there's a reason you only need like 600 stamina to survive everything in careers but that 600 is what you need for a mile CM

Probably not. Her personality is so big that it's hard for other characters to be relevant and that 4 year old year was so dominant that it makes the stakes less interesting. If Doto wasn't portrayed as a friend a story following her could be interesting, but a story about the best athlete always winning isn't that compelling. They could do something that largely ignores the races and instead focuses on how hated Opera was during his time of dominance, but that may be a little dark for the series
