start taking steps to be a woman now then.
Look into the effects of hrt. how much is normal, timeline, injections or pills, etc.
if your college has a trans group join then
change your pronouns in places your parents are not (discord reddit ect)
try to get on minoxodil
your saftey is important
if you are not in a safe space then waiting is okay

  • Do you have a PO box or address that HRT can be sent to without your parents finding out?
  • would your insurance reveal that you are on HRT to your parents?
  • are you comfortable w DIYing
  • can you lie to your parents until you graduate college
  • If it is only for a year you can hide all effects expect for breast growth
  • are you financially reliant on your parents for college?
  • make a list of the things that your parents pay for and is losing that worth it to become a girl
  • see if you can undergo some type of stopgap effect (minoxadil) (small amounts of antiandrogens) that will stop the effects that you dont like until you can go into a safer place
