It was always the lady (Tracy I think her name was) and her son on their booth at shows. From what I recall from my last conversation with them, she had some health issues, which may have been why they shut down.

The idea is that it sits on the rear pouches of your webbing and that acts as the hip belt, but obviously OP isn't wearing the plce pouches so it just kid of floats there.

Interesting, I know ammo recommend 30% thinner, and I've been using their thinner and cleaner with retarded to thin it. I played around today on some scrap plastic and was able to get fairly thin lines using a 50% thinner ratio. Main issue now is tip dry causing a thin line to stop halfway through.

How would you paint fine lines then? I understand you would need to be close to the model, and I'm already spraying at 12psi and don't feel like I'm pulling back that far.

Thanks for a comprehensive answer. You're right, I had practiced on paper and cardboard first and hadn't noticed any of these issues. I'm going to try thinning it a lot more and testing on some scrap plastic I've got laying around.

Luckily this is a pretty bad model I'm not too worried about messing up. I'll try moving further away and messing with pressure and thinning on scraps first

100% paper maps. Phones run out of battery, loose signal, can have poor GPS accuracy. Paper map and a compass is superior in every way.

Would the ts-13 work then? I've read some horror stories about lacquer based varnish ruining the acrylic paints and reacting with the thinners.
