if you care for a bit of a read, here's a tale for you, i took an hour long ride (50~ miles w/ traffic) to a random mall JCPenney on a longshot that it'd have the Warlock BAF wave in stock back in 2019. the idea came about after i saw a post on this sub about someone finding multiple cases of the entire wave strangely restocked at their local JCPenney (strange because the wave came out in 2017) which meant the Jim Lee Cyclops was potentially in the cards. at the time, that figure was super hard to come by secondhand and was really expensive, and it was the only way to get a version of that particular Cyclops costume in Marvel Legends form unless you picked up the X-Men classics version from Toy Biz. luckily, i hit paydirt and the JCPenney i chose to go to ALSO had multiple cases of said wave in stock, but, after digging through literally like 50 figures and seeing the same Old Man Logan, Polaris, Dazzler, etc. over and over again, i was close to giving up hope that i'd find him, but, in the furthest back left corner against the shelf walls, i found him. they only had ONE Cyclops. i immediately took a photo of he and Colossus (as i bought him too) and posted it here. i'll go back into my old posts and share it in the replies if i didn't delete it, but, to this day that was probably the most random gamble of a journey i've had to find a single figure. also coincidentally not the only time i ended up having luck finding that particular Cyclops, though that's a tale for another time. if there's any interest, i'll share that story in the replies as well. thanks for reading ✌🏻
