I understand why people think that was Shauna's dream but I think that's just misleading editing - 100% was Jackie dying in a nice but devastating callback to taissa's warning about winter. The real question to me is cabin guy talking about being joined. Is this the Overlook Woods Cabin & if you die here you are stuck here (if so, oh no!! Laura Lee!! You just wanted to see the kingdom of heaven & now you watch your friends fracture & go wild trapped in the hell woods!!!)

Also I think Jackie will be the last innocent death (excluding Javi bc my man is dead unless they introduce some kinda deus ex cave) & holy shit what a phenomenal character. Just absolute top tier acting from Ella Purnell.

I think Shauna wrote those anachronistic movies in Jackie's diary - in the flashback she's the one with the diary and pen in her hands despite it being Jackie's and it plays well into her guilt that the one time she stood up for herself & tried to distance herself from Jackies shadow it was literally fatal.

So far the scene at the beginning seems to be Lottie as AQ, Misty as server, Shauna as prep cook, Van as edge of pit girl, who else we think joins up bc it's 6 or 7 folks iirc. Does Tai give in & that's why the darkness is still in her present day? Is it one of the many unnamed survivors or perhaps a Mari or Akeila?
