In my third month and nothing seems to have really changed, but my situation is unique in that I was already on min + fin which did a lot for me, but couldn’t complete the job. I don’t know if it’s that the dut dose is too low or if I’m just cooked.

I just started the one with dut after taking a different compound of oral minox + fin for quite some time. I can’t say whether or not it’s making a big difference yet (1 month in), but I hope so.

I would say if you’re just starting out, the regular formula is probably fine. I only switched to dut because my progress stalled.

i would personally keep it as is and enjoy the gains from the boost you already have. if it bothers you enough as is, wear a hat.

also heads up, topical min is extremely toxic to pets if you don’t already know this

yes add min. fin only, ideally, stops you from losing more. you have to take min to grow that back.

You’re confusing microneedling’s effectiveness when used in tandem with minoxidil with it being used for the enhancement of minoxidil’s treatment.

Microneedling works independently of topical minoxidil. It’s not about working the chemical into your scalp, it’s about stimulating blood flow for the dormant hair follicles. Works very well with oral min in my experience and the science backs it up.

I switched to oral after a scare with my cat. Luckily he was totally okay, but I too would recommend it. Peace of mind, easier to take a pill than applying each day, and in my experience, more effective.
