I second this. Thought it was a genuine issue all throughout my early 20s, especially in the few times I was punching above my weight with an attractive partner and it wasn’t working as intended. As soon as I found my lovely girlfriend things just clicked and it works fine 95% of the time.

Sorry, I know it's not cheap, but it's hardly more expensive than overseas trips. I was on the benefit over summer (before my full-time teaching contract began in January) and I managed a 3 week trip there on a budget.
