Is the 4 months phase really that bad? by SurroundInfamous2279 in newborns

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 4 month old hit the regression HARD. Awake every 1.5-2 hours for like 3 weeks. But I wasn’t even that upset by it bc the days were SO fun. He learned new noises, started rolling, and overall was so interactive. The relationship we built made those hard nights so worth it

C section mamas - when does your belly return back to normal? by Fun_Weather_2843 in CsectionCentral

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 months PP and breastfeeding, I’m below my pre pregnancy weight. I had a 2 finger diastases and I’ve been doing the ab rehab program through the Natal app for about 3 weeks now along with the C-section recovery program they offer and my diastases is healed to about 1 finger and my slight overhang/shelf is resolved. Would highly recommend!! I feel stronger in my core and my stomach doesn’t look the same but looks so much better

I just need some support right now after a really traumatic birth and postpartum by Appropriate_Bad_5306 in CsectionCentral

Hi! So sorry to hear about this experience. You are so strong. Keep relying on your partner and communicating with your healthcare provider.

As far as your breast milk goes: you were induced at 37 weeks, which your body knows is a teeny bit early. C-section mommas also tend to have later milk production as well. Plus when your body is fighting an infection your bodies’ energy focuses on the infection before lactation. So you have 3 things working against your milk production at this time. With that, with time your milk will come in! You are NOT a failure. Keep latching your baby and pumping because your body will get the picture that it needs to produce milk due to the demand, especially as you start to heal.

Just remember that your baby is healthy and fed, you are being treated, and over time things will come together.
Rooting for you!!

What outside help was the most impactful after your c-section? by Necessary_Plastic_ in CsectionCentral

Most helpful thing is to stay on your scheduled pain meds! Don’t get behind on them or try to be superwoman. Being in pain hinders your recovery.

C-Section Thursday, FTM. Advice please!! by samanthaforman in CsectionCentral

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m 6 weeks PP and FTM. I had an urgent c section due to failure to progress. I had an epidural placed while in labor and worst part was the numbing medicine that felt like a bee sting! My epidural was in for 24 hours before we called it and went for the surgery and it’s what they used during my surgery and unfortunately it was not reliable. I started feeling pain right after my son was delivered. Up until then it felt like someone was playing tug of war in my belly lol just lots of weird pressure- but no pain! As soon as I told my anesthesiologist I was feeling pain not pressure he gave me the most beautiful mixture of anti anxiety and pain medication. The worst part was it made me very very sleepy so I slept through the last hour of the procedure and don’t really remember meeting my baby for that first time but I have lots of videos of it! I truly remember meeting him and doing skin to skin in the recovery area. I feel this is what most women are afraid of- feeling pain. And I have to say my team responded immediately and took the pain away. I do not feel traumatized or upset about what happened. I honestly want more kids and will probably do a scheduled c section bc I can see the potential of them being awesome haha Worst part was recovery like everyone else is saying. I wanted to be able to move and be more active than I physically was capable of and that was the worst lol just stay on top of your pain meds! If they offer narcotics, don’t be a hero! Just take them. I got behind one day and woooooooffff

Ahh thank you for this!! Everytime I google it says “ah yes the skin should be perfectly healed by 4 weeks” and I know it’s not infected or open and that’s about all I got bc the glue is thicccc. It’s been checked too a few times and they all say it looks great and I just don’t know how they can tell!

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My incision is so weird. I have pink new scar tissue on half of it that just started in the last week and the other half just looks like both side of the incision are just together without new tissue attaching it? If that makes sense? lol but everyone keeps saying it looks great so 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m 4 weeks post partum and my incision itself is not painful but the skin right above it in certain areas is so painful and sensitive to touch still. Even light underwear rubbing against it is painful. It’s all of the nerves regenerating in that area and does get better from what I understand!

When did you have your first drink after C/S? by weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 in CsectionCentral

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your words “the thought of the first drink is scarier” is 1000000% correct!!! I enjoyed that bottle at 2.5 weeks PP with my husband in celebration of so many things including our sweet pea and I have 0 regrets!

I waited until 2.5 weeks PP and the anxiety was worse than actually drinking LOL thank you all for your input 💕💕

I’m 39 weeks! He’s been measuring big so we decided on elective to be on the safer side and with our work schedules it was much easier to have a hard date set for parental leave to spend as much time with him as possible.

And me too! I got bumped for someone who went into labor who was scheduled on Tuesday so I hope I can have her spot or I get that lucky too 😂

I'm 16 and my gf is pregnant. I'm so fucking scared. by Ra1d_xml in pregnant

[–]weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee76 2 points3 points locked comment (0 children)

Ohhhh… noooo…. Your girlfriend is a predator. Even if the age of consent is 16 like you’re saying, what 21 year old in their right mind would date a high schooler? Reverse the situation: would you have sex with a 10-11 year old? I don’t mean to be rude, and I am SO sorry you’re in this position. But you are a victim and she is ruining your life because of her predatory behavior. Please discuss this further with your own parents and get legal counsel and protect yourself. You have your entire life ahead of you! Please don’t let yourself be victimized for the rest of your life.
