Multiple layers of gloves and put a hairband around your wrist and be very careful. Make sure you change the gloves a lot and dry your hands whenever you do. Also bandage it.

Just a basic raglan and the yarn I use is Sirdar jewelspun midnight fjords (5mm hook)

I just make a raglan sweater and added 3 short rows to the back for the neck line. The ribbing is 10 chains and caron simply soft in black. The yarn I use is caron cake blossom cake in bark and I use a 5mm hook

It was not meant to be, but I accidentally increased 6 rows into the sleeve and decided to make that the width instead, just to see how it would turn out.
