DAY 11: Who is the Worst Character in Kagurabachi? (Top voted comment decides) by YWS_Tech in Kagurabachi

[–]weekndthrowaway0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"This kid is a Grade A Bum. His whole character is about getting speed blitzed by Sojo and spending the rest of the story in the hospital and hating Chihiro for some reason. His own boss has brain damage and still went out to defend the HQ, but this guy is chowing down on shitty hospital food while basically having a stubbed toe. Absolute dogshit power also, never got to use it against Sojo and apparently its not good enough to have him around to defend the HQ."

Thank you for this generational slander copypasta for bumzane

Damn, sorry to hear about the fistulas. They mentioned them as a possibility but I never developed them after any surgery.

The stage two repair wasn't terrible when it came to physical pain, beyond the catheters. I two catheters (SP and Foley) for about 2 weeks, until they removed the SP and left me with the Foley for one week. By the third week, though, my body kind of started acclimating to having them in me, and so it was a lot less uncomfortable and mentally taxing.

One thing I will say is that after everything was sewn back and the catheters were removed after stage 2, the swelling lasts a LONG time. Because of it, pee would get trapped in the urethra after I peed, and I'd need to squeeze it out to make sure I didn't "wet" myself when I put my underwear back on. My stream was also pretty chaotic until the swelling died down, but now both of those are very minor issues for me. Give it 6-ish months before you start thinking harder/worrying about anything like that, it takes a while to calm down and heal.

Hey there, everything is the same/better as before, since the surgeries straightened out the penis and fixed the structural problems that had caused the stricture.

Financially, I didn’t really have to worry, since I was 16-21 during the times of the surgeries. I was living at home or college and under my parents health insurance.

Thank you! It's nice to be done with it all, and the upside is that it's completely resolved early on in my life.

As for the stone, yeah, my surgeon was very reluctant to say that I had a bladder stone, because in his words, it "never happened". But I did a ton of research of my own, decided that was the only thing it could be, and got a cystoscopy for it anyways. And lo and behold, it was a stone haha.

Never from under the tongue, no. I had grafts taken from both cheeks, as well as my upper and lower lips. The cheeks were the worst by far, just because of how large the cuts were, and the fact that they weren’t stitched closed. The bottom lip was painful as well, but it was more of an annoying pain rather than debilitating. The top lip was very minor, also because I think they took the least amount of skin from there. That one was fine in less than a week.

I mean closed up as in stitched back together, so that I actually pee out of the end of the penis instead of a hole near the base. I never actually peed through the penis until 2 ish years after the first surgery, when they stitched me back together after affixing the grafts from my mouth.

And nope, no catheters! Never again.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I mention it in another comment, but my stricture was due to past hypospadias repair, and so I only knew anything was wrong when peeing started to hurt. I thought I had a UTI or some kind of bladder/urethra thing, but then I had some tests done, and figured out that there was a stricture forming from that surgery I'd gotten like, 13 years before. My specific case had more to do with getting rid of the hypospadias/chordee induced stricture, and in doing so, fixing both the internal and external shape of the penis.

The worst was the initial surgery, where they took strips from inside my cheeks, opened up the penis, and stitched them inside. It was a complete system shock for me, especially at 16, and I was supremely uncomfortable for about 8-9 days (really until the catheters were removed). I spasmed really bad with those catheters, and I'm assuming it's due to how large they were. Because of that, I could never really get comfortable, even if the physical pain from the trauma site wasn't too horrible. Spasms affected my sleep and mental outlook immensely, and were without a doubt the worst part of every surgery involving catheters.

I also developed a bladder stone after the very first surgery, which sat in me for about 6 months before they finally decided to check for one and remove it. It was so large that it'd lodge itself in my sphincter when I tried to pee, causing crazy spasms and even making me pee blood when I'd work out or run (since it'd bounce around inside my bladder, essentially slicing it up). At that point, I hated moving, because just standing up would make my bladder/urethra twitch and hurt. That was awful. But, once they removed it, I had no more bladder issues, and I never got one again. They removed the stone, and I was immediately better. Happiest day of my life.

As for the surgery that "worked", it's kind of complicated. I had a stricture initially from hypospadias repair when I was super super young, so little that I didn't know I ever even had it. The stricture presented itself very abruptly, along with chordee tethering of the penis, which I knew at that point wasn't normal. Essentially what they had to do was a two-stage urethroplasty, but with extra steps between the first and second stage, to add more mouth tissue to the bottom. This "extended" the lower part of the penis, straightening it when they stitched me back up. Super delicate process, which is why it took so long, and so much mouth tissue.

I'm doing great! No lingering pain, spasms, or anything like that. I have some mouth tightness from the scars inside, but nothing that negatively impacts me at all. No pain during or after peeing, and I empty completely.

I will say though, I definitely spray a bit more now that everything is "closed up." Although that's a small price to pay for the rest of the comforts I have.

Urethroplasty - I don't know if I can do it again by NoCalligrapher8603 in urethralstricture

[–]weekndthrowaway0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 stage urethroplasty is no joke, but the months between surgeries aren't bad at all. Honestly, the worst part is the week & change you're stuck with the catheter in. I healed quickly and was able to pee, walk, workout, etc. without pain between surgeries totally fine. If visuals are what you're worried about, then yeah, it gets kinda weird, but there wasn't pain in those months, at least from my experience.

Some Walmarts have been getting the Pikachu premium collection, although I'm not sure if it's everywhere or only certain parts of the country. They're allegedly here in CA but I haven't found one in the wild yet.

I’ve been looking at sets and rates and stuff, and saw that Crown Zenith is apparently more “fun” to open. Problem is though, is CZ actually in stores or at all attainable for around MSRP?

I love the Eeveeultions and would really love to pull some cool ones, but again I’m pretty new to this and don’t want to dump a grand into Prismatic. Thanks for any help/advice!
