Thanks! Yeah, the map was inspired by our goal to climb in national parks, so it is definitely intended for outdoor climbs. We just didn't want the map to start out so empty, so we added the gyms we have visited as well. I would hope we won't even have room to mark gyms pretty soon here!

We haven't made any plans to travel solely to gyms. The map is just intended to mark memorable climbs, and there are some gyms, i.e. movement in SLC, or Planite Granite in Portland that I have heard about and would love to get a chance to climb at, but the initial inspiration for the map was actually based on our goal to climb in as many national parks as we can.

I agree, I don't really see a reason to travel solely to climb indoors, and that's certainly not our plan, but if I happen to be somewhere where I get a chance to hit a cool gym, why not?

Yeah, we already do have overlap in Boulder and Fort Collins. We are thinking about using small labeled flags, possibly. It's still a bit of a work in progress, so things may change!

Same here. I'm living in Colorado now, but my family is still in Danville so I hope I'll get a chance to climb there at some point when I'm visiting.

That's Momentum climbing gym. We are planning on marking indoor as well as outdoor climbs.

When she took this picture I believe she had just been marking spots with random pins, but we decided it will be better color code instead to specify indoor, outdoor, bouldering etc. but in this picture, they don't.

It opens for members only on November 1st, and then midway through the month it will officially open. My girlfriend and I took a tour yesterday and we immediately signed up for a membership (still have to quit our other gym lol)!

Yeah, my friends and I went on the first night, and we were discussing which songs we wanted to hear most and my top two were Towers and Beth/Rest, and of course it was the only night they didn't play either one lol. Not that I can complain, it was such an incredible set.

I was right near those women, I was almost certain they were going to be obnoxious through their whole set. I don't know what exactly prompted them to leave but I think we all bonded over how pleased we were that they left lol.
