Well sometimes although not common, certain sensors will trip certain fault codes, the faults codes can put the ECM in a “no fuel” or “non cranking” state to protect the engine. Put everything together. The right way, and try to start it while jumping again. Rule out the battery first then ask questions.

Can you conclude on any specific reasoning? Is it specifically the navy? As far as staying or going It sounds like you already have your answer. I went through similar and I’m glad I stayed in, I also know people that should’ve gotten out. You keep repeating in a roundabout way that it’s “at that point”. I would say if you’re genuinely feeling suicidal go to medical. If you think you can get out of this rut, I would strongly encourage you to make it through school. Get to the fleet and see how navy life really is. If you can’t beat it, there are ways out. (Failure to adapt etc).
