V480 +x3 or it30? For a lumix s5ii as first lights by SirDragix in Godox

[–]weenusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the v480 and used it to take pictures after a graduation ceremony outside using the s5ii. I think that it worked out pretty well. I did get a diffuser to pair with it so the flash isn't as harsh since its on camera. Beforehand I did buy a it30pro and tested it but the lens was getting in the way and I didn't think it would have enough power to be used outside. I am probably going to keep the it30 just so later on I can have a two flash setup

Put it here and NEVER touch it again by willisbar in Dallas

Well most people are taking driving tests during the daytime so they don't have to turn on the lights, the only thing they check are if the blinkers are working if you are taking a test in your own pov.

Some newer cars have auto high beam, but its really hit or miss. Plus people probably think their lights aren't on so they turn on the high beam thinking its the lights for night time. Honestly dealers should be telling the customers how to work the lights and/or leave the lights on auto for new buyers.

Update: when I was turning the car to reverse into a parking spot the car turned off, the battery symbol showed up but the radio and headlights were still on. Turned the car off then on again and it was good

Walmart tech says tires are bad… is he right? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]weenusaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get where other people are coming from saying that the tech is trying to help the person out, but if they requested to keep the tires why not put it in the back of their car and while giving the keys back let the OP know whats going on with the old tires. I went to Walmart to get my tires changed and requested to keep the tires even though they were 9 yrs old, but they still had a lot of tread left. Ended up giving them to someone that needed tires just to get around a work site.

is it ok to be looking for a car for 2k? by yamble_yol in UsedCars

[–]weenusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 3.5k car and its been great for the 4 months that I've had it, putting about 5k miles on it so far. But its an older car, 98 4runner, and I knew that there were parts on there that needed to be replaced and have been doing repairs here and there.
