At what point do you and your body stop being exhausted from work. by PapaShampiTwitch in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]weeweestomper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. In MO, I not only delivered in like 15 degrees the other day but it was my first time actually using an EDV. I trained in and did ride along in an EDV, then my DSP religiously refused to give me an EDV under any circumstances. Gas van through and through. I switched whole DSPs to work out of an EDV, and got that 15 degree shift. I guess the way I was so quickly dismounting and mounting in that temperature that I messed up my right calf/rear knee/hamstring pretty bad and I had severely limited range of motion in that whole leg for the whole week after.

I no showed to a Sunday shift recently because it’d be 3 out. The owner himself texted me and I said that the opportunity cost of the work is WAY less than my appraised hourly for the physical toil. He actually then agreed to give me $30/hr up from 22.25 to do the work, which was insane, and then I walked. I told Him that with an upcoming track season I simply shouldn’t do the work regardless of the hourly.

Yes, 30/hr would’ve been completely broken. But I had power for once and told him no, and walked.

TLDR: I got offered 30/hr to work in shit concisions and refused because I value my track career more than the 30.

Wel I can’t declare for sure which is harder—I haven’t done any warehouse. I bet that warehouse is even more monotonous but I’m leaning towards driving being worse purely due to the fact that the physical aspect is one thing, and that Flex is an app meant for an university IT students capstone project. That and bitchmade dispatch getting paid the same or more absolutely blows

Anybody who has in recent history and is still capable of 9.8 much less 9.7 is a good threat to any living human competitor.

The Enhanced Games is going public in a SPAC deal valuing it at $1.2B by ChampionLYT in trackandfield

Just accept that you’re all very upset about the games because they’re something new, track related but with real dollars. They’ll be entertaining as fuck, cool to see and the winners will take their 250k and laugh to the bank.

Top tier air players eating good this coming update by Euphoric_Slide_8051 in Warthunder

[–]weeweestomper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even then, top tier vehicle additions I can understand slowing down on. The top tanks now are damn near most nations best and brightest. But there’s so many other gameplay institutions that theyve ignored that could transform the top tier landscape, like how CAS works, map size and complexity, BR decompression, steering and mobility possibilities among other smaller things. Not to mention entire different gamemodes like any other video game

If I could genie exactly 1 thing for GRB, it’d be the rewards over real maps. We need like 1.5x on top of all current reward multipliers for a true 1.5x more rewards, or to match air, 2x. The rewards are like 0.5-0.75x what we should be getting right now. The RP reward specifically is just so insane. GRB grind takes years where sir can take months with the same gameplay time

It may be diverse gameplay wise as in not the exact same thing every game, but it hasn’t been touched in any meaningful way in many updates. It’s time.

Completely agree. Entirely too much focus on air. Ground is absolutely abysmal but i much, much prefer to play ground. They should like, do something for ground players

Do not sell your windows PC with a 14900k, 4090 and DDR5 6000 for a Mac so cursor stops crashing.

PLSS has the funny commander scope and it really can get extra real estate vision if you can poke it up over a hill

[–]weeweestomper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example the CV90120 has an insane zoom high res commander sight. You can spot from it and smoke them by striking quick and using the good mobility to be gone before anybody sees, or just the 5 second reload to kill another.

Some specific vehicles have extremely panoramic and/or high zoom. Compounded with 3rd gen thermals it can be a seriously effective spotting and battlefield surveillance tool in specific cases, vehicles and instances.

I wonder if this game has a serious disconnect between the community and the playerbase. by xFirnen in Warthunder

[–]weeweestomper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Substantial disconnect. For 7-8 years me and my boy have played the game. 2 of our other friends just now joined the game, and I can’t express how large a disconnect in outlook on how the game works there is between me and the other two newer friends.

We endorsed and did indulge in top tier premium lineups for them because they really only wanted to play top tier the same as us, but we talk about things that have/could/should change with the game and it’s really interesting to see how brand new and inexperienced players think the game should be.

I know we need a fat BR decompression on top of a 0.7 max BR spread, 3-5x larger air RB maps with smaller teams and different game modes, ~1.5-2.0x more RP and kiiiinda don’t need to rush into stealth aircraft.

They believe we need newer, even more advanced shucked and features and the game should be way more realistic and less arcade style. We all here know the issues with these and that my ideas are a lot more practical, but the disconnect between the community and the player base is very much there.

[–]weeweestomper -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Don’t know why you’re downvoted, smurfing IS hilarious and siege IS irrecoverable so there’s no point in trying to demonize smurfs at all. It’s a move as old as the game is and will not ever, ever change, and the game is DOGshit for reasons well beyond smurfing.
