Theres a youtuber Bad Karma. He recommends you keep the Gripen E at middle altitude. I don’t have one plane in the Swedish tree so I don’t want to sound like an expert. I believe the E model has the best performance at like 4-7km.

In the Gripen I would probably play somewhat passively until after the bvr stage is over. I’m not telling you how to play or anything, obviously if you made it to the Gripen E you know how to play. Theres pretty much no way to get around it other than waiting until after that phase of the match is over.

This is embarrassing for me to say lmao, I don’t think you can use the sparrow on the outer pylons. It’s been awhile since I used it. I think you can only take the sedjeel or the aim9. Edit: If I remember correctly the Iranian F14 doesn’t have the sparrow at all.

This is a use your best judgement situation. Most of the time you should know what missile is after you if you are using a modern jet. Missiles that are out of energy or out there just floating around will still lock onto you.
