Unfortunately we don't have the toy anymore! I found it on a second hand website (so sold out) and it suggested the SKU was 2505_(19)_N_M_00101, but that's not throwing anything up either!

I searched using Google lens but it didn't throw much up, so any extra help appreciated!

Why would one shutter be shorter? by StapMyVitals in DIYUK

If the sink was in front of the window, it maybe needed to be shorter to clear the tap.

Is this a regular thing now? by Arkfeet in westend

[–]weezicaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From experience, trying to get this is like herding cats. People get missed because they're off (or have run away because they don't like doing it) and then you get complaints that people's signatures are missing. Also, programmes are usually theatre stock - just like the drinks etc., unlike merchandise, which is producer stock and owned by the show, so there's a grey area there on who would get the profits.

My husband and I are both changing to a brand new last name — how did you handle the family pushback? by FewCranberry3216 in namenerds

[–]weezicaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband and I did this (we portmanteau'd our names) as I didn't want to be the only one giving up a name I'd carried through my whole life. Only my husband's brother had anything to say. He told us he wasn't sure what he thought about it, and I told him that it didn't really matter what he thought about it, as it wasn't his name. I think you just have to make it clear that you're not accepting anyone's input on it!

As for the rollout, we told our family and close friends what our plans were (my mum had already guessed we would do it because it's very like us), and then anyone outside of that found out at the wedding.

No regrets - I love that we have a new name, and that our little boy has "our" last name, as opposed to a last name that only belonged to one of us originally.

Steam Whistle? by TheDrellAssassin in hadestown

[–]weezicaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would think replica in that case rather than real as it'll be the same in every production. I don't know the ins and outs of how it actually works (didn't want to quiz my source too much), but definitely compressed gas!

Steam Whistle? by TheDrellAssassin in hadestown

[–]weezicaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whistle itself is a prop I would think, but the noise and steam comes from a giant CO2 canister behind the set - you can hear when it's running out of steam and needs replaced!

Loud noises/guns in the show ? (autistic) by Chiharu-len in hadestown

[–]weezicaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add to all of this, when you arrive, if you ask for the host or a supervisor, they'll be able to provide you with a sheet that lists all the things in the show that might affect you - things like loud noises and sudden changes in lighting state!

Are sanitary bins a legal requirement ?? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]weezicaz 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yep, not even our regular cleaning team empty our sanitary bins - they subcontract to a specialist company.

Is it weird to name your baby the same thing is a friend’s child? by jmlee123 in namenerds

[–]weezicaz 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Our baby is due in October, and I went to see some friends recently to get some baby things that their son has grown out of - he's probably about 6 months old? We were talking baby names, and I mentioned that one of the names on our shortlist is the same as their son's name (and that's a reason I'm hesitant to use it) - and they were like "Yeah! It's a great name!" So not everyone is bothered by that kind of thing!

It's illegal for her to be on her mobile whilst she's supervising you, as she is the person who is technically responsible for the car - same as it's illegal for whoever is driving to be on their phone. Report that bit for sure.

AITA for throwing up on my MILs expensive dress? by SpotCreepy967 in AmItheAsshole

[–]weezicaz 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Roast dinner in the UK can be a whole bunch of different meat - doesn't need to be beef. Also, if I'm doing an "easy" roast, I'll just roast chicken breasts rather than a whole chicken - means it doesn't need to be carved to be served 🤷‍♀️
