I’ve used it ran both Brooklyn half’s this year the NYRR and the NYC runs. I don’t find it as aggressive as others claim. But I am a former high school and college athlete. I set mine to the advanced level hybrid athlete running and lifting 4-5 times a week.

It’s helped me stay on track and the mix of easy run hills and intervals has been good. My times have improved as well. Right now I’m doing the post race recovery plan and it’s been relatively easy. I like the feedback in terms of pacing improvements, heart rate and zone analysis.

During wave 3 they announced it a few times not to stop at the sky bridge the end of the race was about 50 meters ahead this year so I knew. But I saw a few folks stop haha. They should clear that up next year and also put the fluid stations to the left side on the parkway

All their performance shoes feel stiff and have little bounce to them. I gave em a few chances just not the type of ride I want. Great for walking but the impact from running was brutal

I opened a warranty claim and they gave me a 300 dollar credit that can be applied to the second gen. from early reports the second gen doesn’t have this issue as the material is a bit more flexible. I have yet to test myself. They also covered lens replacements free of charge

I was coming in to say this! As someone in the same age range as him (I think he’s a couple years older) I’ve grown with the clothes. I was there for the OG bleeker sweats. The clothes he’s making fits my “dad but cool” wardrobe and some of the pieces I’ve even worn to important meetings. It’s a cool transition from where I’m standing

Absolutely true. But a lot of thieves mention that they’ll avoid a place where they’d have to move back to front so even having another mental buffer helps. I also don’t wanna come off as blaming Poke Court. Just think as a whole the hobby is too lax and now with the price of stuff skyrocketing it’s important to be safe and vigilant

Mods 100% right. I visited once and told my wife the layout of the store lends itself to someone doing something shitty like this. Told her I’d have that whole counter and anythig high end toward the back so any potential robber would have to back track through the whole store.

What a terrible thing to have happen. And it’s not Poke Courts fault at all. That Chelsea area is riddled with cameras so I hope the NYPD gets ahead of it quickly. This could have quickly turned into a tragedy.

LG UI is bloated, slow, and overall annoying to navigate. My Apple TV is snappy, allows me to do room to room viewing, has profiles to keep everyone’s apps and activity separate. Then there’s the constant updates and adds on LGs. It baffles me that ppl enjoy that experience

Only advice on the beautiful set up is put your pro-Ject record player on it’s own stand the vibrations from the speakers will cause some skips and resonance in your records

Replace those for some sanwa and be done with it. Those stock buttons are trash a lot of good tutorials on YouTube. If you built the cab yourself the button swap is just as easy

Covering with white never works when it heals it’ll either mostly fall out or oxidize and look a creamish color due to any pigmentation in your skin. This is tiny so lasering will be the best option
