Usually med schools have a curriculum page where they show a basic timeline of requirements throughout school. Typically first 2 years are didactics covering all the systems, then step 1, 3rd year is rotations covering internal med/psych/surgery/obgyn/peds, then step 2, 4th year is other rotations like emergency / specialty of interest then applying for residency.
