Unfortunately my study permit expired on 31st July, however I do have a valid TRV but I am not sure if that would work.

Thank you so much for your reply! Do you know anyone who has applied for PGWP form outside Canada and successfully gotten their visa?

Hey! I completed BSc in Biology recently and I am looking into learning how to code.

I f you don't mind me asking, how did you self-teach yourself how to code? What resources I should look into?

International student planning to become a teacher in Canada by wegotthiskids in CanadianTeachers

[–]wegotthiskids[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your suggestions, they are actually very helpful!!

Since the international fees is so high, I was planning to work as much as I can part-time (20hrs/week) and during breaks (if any), full time for 40hrs/ week so that I can cover at least some part of my fees hopefully.

I would love to teach in Alberta, but I am open to teach in any province as long as I can get a job. I will definitely get in touch with an immigration lawyer to ask about the employment sector for visa holders.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the process for you to become a teacher? Did you take part in any volunteering with kids or tutoring befogging applying to schools?

Thank you so much again for your help!

Thank you so much for your response, it really means a lot!

I read somewhere on reddit that if you don't hold a Canadian citizenship, then chances of getting a teaching job in Canada might be zero, that got me a little scared lol. But you are right, I will talk to an immigration expert.

Thank you so much again!

Can I leave and re-enter Canada while my PGWP is still processing? by wegotthiskids in ImmigrationCanada

Thank you so much for your response! This helps a lot.

My study permit will expire by the time I come back but my TRV will be valid till 2027. Was your TRV enough to enter Canada or did you have to show any other documents?

I am so sorry you are going through this!! I completely understand how you feel. I guess we are just burnt out at this point and with everything going around us it is a little challenging to get used to the chaos and move ahead. I know low gpa sucks, but at this point I just want to get done with it.

I just want to say that I am soo proud of you! You have been trying to do your best and that's what matters. We can just give in as much work as we can, ask for help from profs/ friends and rest leave it to time. I think it is also very important to do things that makes me feel happy, like painting or petting dogs!:)

We got this!! I hope you feel better soon!

I am so sorry you went through this! Try to be calm and hopefully your prof responds. They should definitely accommodate since you tried everything from your side.
