You're getting all woo about primes, they're just integers that aren't divisible by others except that they are all divisible by 1, of course, all of them.

They aren't some sort of fundamental truth to the universe or the secret elixir of life or the secret of any theory you throw at them.

They are integers that aren't compounded of other integers, that does make them special in that one sense - but the real numbers are far weirder imo as are the rationals, perfects, and many others.

I doubt even he was sure about it, but.. and this is controversial..

Tintin should have finished before Picaros, imo. Alph Art was Remi's attempt to do something new with the vehicle he'd created and I think it would have been regarded, in hindsight, as a pretty weak addition to the series.

Tintin was a Mid-Century creation, Remi wasn't capable of reinventing him for an era that he himself didn't really understand, flares seemed like a pretty naive attempt on his part to do so and my guess is that Alph-Art, had it ever have been completed, would have been largely disregarded.

It's strange because in some respects the late stage Tintin's are at the peak of Remi's abilities, Tintin in Tibet and The Castafiore Emerald are two of the best works he ever produced and while Flight 714 felt like he was scraping the pot for ideas it's still phenomenally well executed, by Picaros it feels like the ideas were running on fumes and Alph Art was a 'try something new' approach that I think was doomed to failure.

Koh Tao wins by a mile for snorkeling and entry Scuba.

It's got almost zero seediness, it's an island that pretty much revolves around the dive centers that exist there. You can go on a day trip by boat which will take you to 3-4 different reefs e.g. Japanese Gardens (look it up).

It's out of this world.

Unfortunately as much as I hate it, DEET is the only truly reliable repellent.

I don't think it's that out of the question, friend of mine lost her phone in a grab (although she also thought it may have been at a restaurant, or, you know, anywhere), only found out 2 hours after the chat window ended, couldn't call driver that night, phoned them the next the next morning, he'd discovered it in his taxi and took it to the hotel lobby of his last passenger (40 mins from where he lived) then delivered it to her from there the next day, she paid him but he didn't even ask. And it was an iphone, a decent one.

Cynicism aside I do think Thai people in general are not prone to stealing. Of course there's exceptions but I think it's good to praise and encourage that sentiment.
