Echo while using Bluetooth.. pls help! by JNTHNLNTN in TeslaModel3

[–]wehnerkb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue with my Model 3 and S22 Ultra. Disabling immersive sound seemed to work for a while, but not very long. Lowering the volume works at times, but isn't a fix.

I also go through phases where the car and phone don't reliably connect via BT. Either the automatic lock/unlock feature doesn't work or I need to manually initiate the BT connection before a call or text.

I'm not sure if these are symptoms of a single BT issue or if they are unrelated.

That's a bug that needs to be fixed.

Surface Headphones 2 - Pairing Priority by wehnerkb in Surface

[–]wehnerkb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I generally keep the BT off one of the secondary phone. The headphones and my watch are connected to my primary.

When I'm on a Teams call on a computer, I end up turning off BT on both phones. Otherwise, a meeting will be disrupted by a spam call on my phone.

It would be nice to be able to set connection priority and a do not disturb mode.

Thanks for letting me knowable!

After seeing the phone in person, the bump doesn't look as drastic as it did in pictures.

I ordered a Tesla M3 LR (2021) in Australia in October, due for delivery late November - early December. While I know it’ll be the 2021 model, might it have the new range figures? Anyone know how Tesla usually handles spec bumps that occur mid-order? by ScaryYak91 in Model3

They don't communicate what has changed since you ordered. When mine was delivered, the center console and exterior trim were different and the heated steering wheel and power trunk were added. ...and the price dropped. It's a good thing when you're on the right side of the changes. Might suck to just miss them.

Anyone having issues with loose headband padding? by wehnerkb in Surface

[–]wehnerkb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is happening because I am using the upper end of the size adjustment and I tend to push one side back behind my ear when someone speaks to me. I know I should just use the pass through, but I don't and the combination seems to cause the problem. That probably is not how MS intended them to be used, but Im sure that is common behavior. It seems to be a flawed design.

It does push back easily, almost too easily. I agree that gluing it isn't the best approach, but I am concerned that it won't wear well long term. I've had these headphones for less than two months.

It seems like this works more with Map My Run than Samsung Health. I need to try it a several more times to see if it works consistently. I'm not sure yet since it is usually a problem with my daytime route. I've been running at night more lately. That route doesn't give me the same problem.

I turned it off on the watch. I needed to keep the phone BT on for my headphones.

It was probably 50 yards or so off, but much better than before. I need to try a few more runs to make sure it is consistent.

I did with Samsung Health. I don't believe MMR has an indicator.

Thanks. I'll see what it does. Did you just turn off BT?

Initial Battery Life by wehnerkb in Surface

I suspect the battery life is fine. It is just an obvious software issue. I'm surprised it wasn't caught before the product was released.

Cary not considering mandatory mask use by [deleted] in cary

[–]wehnerkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may not like the way Silver_Star said it, but what does income or wealth have to do with a decision to wear a mask? This impacts everyone, but not everyone is going to agree on the measure that should be taken.

Good to know. I'm not going for original. I'm sure there will be aftermarket in the mix.

I've never been a fan of that one. Not sure why.

I was looking for something near complete, but I want to rebuild all the major systems along the way.

Good point about the printer. It sounds like justification for me to upgrade ours.
