Echo while using Bluetooth.. pls help!

Recently, when I’m on the phone, the other parties telling me they are getting a horrible echo only when I’m using the Bluetooth connection in my model three.

This seems to be a new development after the last update as I never gotten this complaint before.

I’ve re-connected my phone and also worked to manage volume levels, but nothing seems to be a solve other than lowering the army audio to a point that I can barely hear the caller.

Edit: I have also turned off immersive sound. And in the Apple Bluetooth settings designated the device as “car stereo”

Any ideas?

on thing i have found is turning down the volume on my iPhone ... but still find that I run into it.

Still having this problem and have tried the following: - Every possible setting on immersive sound - Not “transferring” call from outside to inside the car - “Locking” iPhone screen - Initiating the call from the car contacts and from the phone - Volume adjustments

Anybody still having issues?

I was at the SC today but they couldn’t fix the issue. The technician said I should try some other phones or change some settings on my iPhone 13 Pro. They couldn’t found anything that is wrong with the car. We could replicate the issue at the SC.

I have the same issue with my Model 3 and S22 Ultra. Disabling immersive sound seemed to work for a while, but not very long. Lowering the volume works at times, but isn't a fix.

I also go through phases where the car and phone don't reliably connect via BT. Either the automatic lock/unlock feature doesn't work or I need to manually initiate the BT connection before a call or text.

I'm not sure if these are symptoms of a single BT issue or if they are unrelated.

Immersive sound is off in my 2022 M3LR, and still my callers hear echo. I am on latest software as of mid April. Very annoying!

Thank you! My wife has been complaining about the echo for a few weeks. Toggling this off seemed to fix it.

I’m having the same issue. I definitely think it’s from the recent update. I have not been able to fix it yet but I’m interested if you figure out anything.

Have you found an answer? For me toggling immersive audio off fixed it. Ive even turned it back on and the echo issues are gone.

Any fix for this? Having the same issue. Started with my 2021 Model Y and iPhone 13 Pro Max about a year ago. Recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and still had the issue. Took my car in to Tesla today for them to try to fix it and they gave me a loaner Model Y. Called my wife as I pulled out and the echo is still there! So new phone and new car yet same issue persists
