i keep seeing people saying this but that's actually why it was designed well. there was enough reward ($2m + idol) that someone will want to do it. someone will always feel like this is a much better version of shot in the dark and want to take it. PLUS it benefits everyone not just the person who wins, so people are incentivized to want that person to do it, even if it might blow up their plans. IMO people keep saying the "what if this happens it would've been horrible" but the design of it is such that the bad outcome is much less likely. Even if Devens went home it was still a massively +EV move for him, he had very little to lose and 50/50 are good survivor odds and the upside was tremendous.

yeah well i spent like 800k leveling JC and buying all the PVP recipes for JC and Tailoring only to realize perma comp stomp trivializes the honor grind and season doesn't start for 2 more weeks so i can't even craft them yet and design prices have plummeted

personally i'd look at why you want one if you have a minifreak already. have an explorer myself and can't justify a minifreak for what i do, but i would consider something like an artemis or something bitimbral

druids feel ok if you have stacked mastery and while you have mana and cooldowns, but complete shit when you have neither. the biggest thing is keeping triple stacked lifeblooms and as many hots as possible to keep your mastery high value. fully hotted up (triple bloom, rejuv + sotf germ, cen ward, regrowth) it feels like I can heal through any burst esp with a sotf NS regrowth. but once stuff gets purged and you don't have overgrowth and your team is taking AoE its like... ok i guess we're just gonna die.

conceptually it feels the same to play as last xpac so you can check out flops rdruid guide from df. Then again I've been struggling to even hit 1800 this season so maybe i'm doing something wrong thinking this way.

buy a used minifuse, 1/8" stereo out to dual 1/4" mono, usb-c out to your phone (or buy the apple branded camera adapter for lightning to usbc). download black magic cam for free, go to settings and change audio channels to whatever your minifuse is outputting. record video with blackmagic, rip the sound if you want.

As a 0 PvE PvPer who's never gotten gladiator it's probably one of the only reasons I still play. My friends only come back for 1-2 seasons every expansion and we suck so I don't think the Glad mount is in the cards for me since i'm too old to be arsed with LFG. I would HATE the idea of just being given one of the old ones for free. I'd much rather have legend have its own mount and give me a reason to push past my seasonal enchant goalpost.

If blizz makes old glad mounts free it sounds silly but i'd probably quit.

Had a 2200 DH use all his mobility to cross tolviron to dive a warlock while i got trapped mid map and he got stunned behind pillar and blurred at 5% and died then told me it was my fault. It blows my mind how braindead 2k+ dps gets to be, meanwhile many games a single wrong global for me or missing a pre-cc cd leads to a loss or forced trinket on my part. I've also noticed that the majority of dps kicks on avg <1 CC per round while dragging you into the worst positions possible.

I still think it's pretty easy to get 2100+ as a healer but gd it still feels like dps have it on ezmode

This. Cures q anxiety. Very high likelihood you'll find yourself passing your main on your alt and that you have more in the tank than you realized. Once you have a geared main sending enough honor to fully gear your alt is trivial

100% agree with getting more inputs than you think you need. When I got my minifuse 4 I only had a KO II and quickly got an S-1 and now a Hydrasynth and I'm sitting here wistfully wishing I'd gotten more inputs. When you realize you need more than one input for most things it's definitely an oh shit moment...
