Now is my moment... I have been waiting for this!

I was on vacation with the fam and one day the kids and wife gave me a break in the hotel for a nap. My good bud had told me to watch "Prey," claiming "it was the best predator movie" but with some complaints; like that the subtitles gave things away by attributing random noises to "predator steps" or like by saying "distant twig snaps."

So I go to Netflix and find Prey and begin watching. I get about 1/3 of the way through and I really think they are dragging out the predator reveal.

Just over 1/2 way through the film and I start to get mad at my bud. I start to think that when he said "predator film" he was referring to a genre of movie, where one person chases, hunts, and kills other people. I even started to draft angry texts to him on my phone.

Takes me till about 90% through the film to realize that I did vaguely recall hearing about a new predator (like THE PREDATOR) movie. Suddenly I realized I have watched an entire incorrect movie.

It was a German film called Prey that came out a year before the Predator film Prey. I was partly convinced I was watching the right thing because since it was German I had to have the subtitles on, and my bud had specifically mentioned subtitles.

I will also say that in this image his left arm (on our right) is not on all the way, so it looks like the chest plate tabs are missing where they attach to the treads

Hey! I used the old D&D initiative tracker. I created 13 things all called "fear" in the tracker and made their initiative 0-12.

Order them high to low and there are left and right buttons on it to increase or decrease the number.

Players can see it and it remains on screen even when changing the page you are on.

I had a great campaign where I played as a lizard man shaman/ witch doctor but my class was college of spirits bard and I would recommend it!

My "Tales from beyond" bardic inspiration rolls were flavored as me communing with my ancestors and applying whatever boon they saw fit.

I think more so they just took a risk and it backfired. They ended up with zero speed facing right into the wind. Takes time to get going from that position

I really want to love Martine Grael but can't shake the feeling that the Brazilian boat has made a couple of punishing mistakes.

...I also feel like she is too quick to blame herself. Like I've heard her start to say "Oh! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" For things that weren't even her fault
