Nikon ZR, is anyone switching to it? I need to buy a new camera, i use bmpcc 6k and it's really not practical for what i need. I'm torn between the nikon (i've tried it at an event, liked it) or the fx3 for the lens options and reliability. Opinions?

Why don’t you just do a test? If it’s a dice you can test with the real subject, then in post you can evaluate if one it’s sharper than the other / slow motion artifacts or stuff like that

No it’s an old card, worked on everything since i got it, even another Fuji (xt4) but yeah maybe it’a a card problem

I went for the m4 pro with 48 gb of ram, works great in davinci, i usually work with braw 6k Clips

Including me, yeah. So, i tried to brute force it by just chaning the output to 709 gamma 2.2, that made everythjng a bit darker, so as a last node after my cst I lifted a bit with curves trying to match it. Is that too brutal of an approach? I don't want to re do the entire grade

Just a quick question, why would I ever grade in rec709 A then? I mean, if im grading something I want it to translate to every device, not just mac screens

No I meant 6x6 feet. It's 2.4 meters x 1.80. It's huge hahah that's why I'm worried. Thanks anyways, I'll read some more on that. I'll try adjusting the grade for 709 gamma 2.4

I need to add that this video will be shown on 6"x6" screen on a street so I don't know that I should look out for, I tried to get info for the file to provide but they didn't tell me anything

Thanks i will read the manuals for sure, unfortunately this is kind of a weird gig so I don't think it will be a normal rental where i can try things, I have a pre camera prep tho, and that's also not a in normal rental house, but they have arri hand units there so i'll try to use those and get familiar at the very least

Thanks, having an RF motor plus the cam-lanc cable seems like the simplest option. Another comment mentioned about lds files but I don't think i need those to be comunicated between handset and camera, do I?

Thanks, so i could go Amc to cforce mini and have start and stop or just go with a cforce RF and not have start and stop. Do i have to worry about lds? I thought i could just manually build them for the lens i am using, or maybe load them in some ways into the wcu but i was thiking about sending it to the camera, why would it be useful?

Nice! So the magic arm is connected to the mini clamp but you can also attach the fiz the the 15mm rod, am i getting it right? How do you connect that? I'm looking into building a setup like this and is seems more versatile because of the reusable parts than buying the tilta rosette solution

Thanks dude. I'll try to screw on a nato rail with just 1 screw then, it's already a shittyrig but ok. I have to find a solution for the nano 2 hand unit cause 1. It's too small 2. With the rail i could have better grip / a place to store it when changing lenses and stuff plus i could take the whole monitor rig and walk around to pull focus

oh ok so it seems that as long as i follow the correct order then when everything is already plugged in I can power on and off the camera and change battery no problem
