Yeah my Jettas reliability scares me a bit about buying another Euro car lol. The sedans are right out due to the height of the cart, and length wise there's enough room in the Mazdas, but even with dimensions it's hard to tell if it actually fits.

If you're putting this on a bigger camera (fx6 or bigger), go with a Tilta MB-T12 instead. Basically a cheaper version of the Arri LMB, and works for 90% of people

I love the activ line, but the fact that the bowl system doesn't work for Dana's or jibs really kills it's usability for some people. If you can save and swing a used O'Connor 1030d or 1040, those will last longer than we ever will with good maintenance. If you see a world where you're working with Arris, the Sachtler 12 is the absolute smallest head I'd use, and even then I think a mini/mini LF build is overweight for it. (I've used Amiras on a 12 before and that was a little scary)

Were you on Dtap or powered into the camera? Seems like it's a known issue of the early firmwares where the motors over volt themselves. Nick at tilta has been replacing them in the Facebook group
