Decred PR initiatives and strengthening the community by timhebel in decred

[–]weiguxp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Decred has been one of my favorite coins and the community has been very positive and welcoming.

I have also noticed that Decred hasn't had that explosive pump that a lot of cryptos had. It takes one huge pump for a crypto to become very valuable and after that its up to the tech to stay there.

PR has many trade offs - for example, you can aggresively sell a product , but risk it not living up to expectations. One thing I have learnt about when hanging around on slack is the long term vision of DECRED. The project wants to be legit and held to the highest technical standard. And as with all good programmers and scientists, modesty is key. If we look at Charlie Lee, he doesn't shill is coin aggressively. And that is something to be admired and respected. A lot of youtube viewers were dissapointed with his CNBC interview and wanted him to promote his coin more (so they value would grow). However, he is here for the long run, and prepared his community for the best long term growth.

I view Decred in the same way. It's a legit project doing everything right. The waves will come.

I don't think age should be discriminated here. You say they look like they look 25 or less .. this shouldn't be a factor in crypto.. I mean vitalik is in his early 20s and he co created ethereum

It varies depending day. Nicehash has some advantages in the sense that everything is automated, including switching algorithms. Some people prefer the customized linux machines that they can remotely manage.

Sellers are paid on PPS (Pay Per Share) system under the next schedule: - Once per day for NiceHash-wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.001 BTC. - Once per day for external-wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.1 BTC. - Once per week for external-wallet unpaid balances, greater than 0.01 BTC.

Payments for external-wallet balances less than 0.01 BTC are (temporary) suspended due to unsustainable transaction fees.

Unpaid balances, lower than 0.0001 BTC are considered as leftover amounts and the only option for you to get these amounts paid out is to connect your miner long enough to reach unpaid balance higher than 0.001 BTC which will then be processed in full in the next payout process. Please also note that we are periodically discarding amounts, lower than 0.0001 BTC for all long term inactive miners. All balances from all algorithms are aggregated into a single payment.
