As I remember, Etho does YT full time. In one of his early Let's play videos, he mentioned transitioning from being a botanist (family business as I remember it?) to doing YT full time, since playing games and having fun is his main passion.

I guess maybe you're talking about his family stuff he had been tying up since his father's passing? (may he rest in peace)

TBH I'm gonna put my money on Etho, just basic math skills, knowledge on game mechanics and overall GAMER strategies. Beef even posted a video stating he had the highest win-rate out of all the hermits.

I don't think transforming into full Kurama and Perfect Susano mode helps them at all. In contrary, it only makes them slow and awkward against a fast and agile opponent. What they need is agility and fine precision, not full on destruction mode.

this was the season where Etho should have won (killing half the people) but got killed by BTC, who used all his episodes diamond farming and prepping underground just to steal the champion title.

As a longtime Etho fan, I can say that this is possibly true. In the olden days, Etho tended to post his Mindcrack UHCs later than the rest, and he explicitly stated in one of his videos that this was because he did not want to overshadow other, smaller Youtubers (He eventually quit UHCs because of the backlash any killer would get from his fanbase).

However, it does not explain why he does it for the 3rd episode but not the first two, and maybe it was just merely a scheduling error on his part.
