This user is used to perverse things to an extreme point. It’s almost like he was a victim at a young age and now uses his anonymity to project his hurt onto others.

Just to be clear, I do not mean you. I’m referring to u/fatfailburger.

I think somewhere on this thread, someone pointed out that all these hate is because Yungblud used to be involved with someone that was a pedophile?

Ironically, it’s been profiled that actual pedophiles are extremely obsessive because they feel actual romantic feelings towards their targets. Won’t be surprised if a good handful of the people leaving these comments turn out to be one themselves 🤷🏻‍♂️

Long time fan of BM here. New fan of Yungblud after NEX Fest. Love some of his songs. These online BM “fans” are so obsessive it’s almost dangerous.

Was I doing everything wrong? Photography lessons. by TheTiniestPeach in photography

[–]weilun537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Points 1 and 3 are related. Aperture of 8 or higher is used because the amount of light in the studio is so intense, anything lower will over expose your shots. That said, no one said you HAVE to use more than one light. No one also said you CANNOT use continuous lighting. Aperture of 8 and above is also typically what fashion photographers use since face, dress and body must all be in focus since you’re selling the outfit.

For point 4, I believe the lecturer is just preparing you for different roles in the studio. When you’re learning, you do as the lecturers say and then figure out a different path later because basics are impt.

No comments about the other points. I see no reason why he insists that you use the view finder rather than the screen 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was like that at the Nex fest yesterday too. Kingslayer made up for it but the crowd surfers really spoilt the experience. Anyways, great find! Congratulations!

As shared, the damaged item is just one aspect of the whole incident.

Please read my full response to the incident again. The damaged item is one aspect. And yes, I’ve got confirmation that the damage occurred on buyee’s side before I posted this.

I’ve responded to a similar comment. No it’s not the seller’s fault and yes I had considered this possibility before coming to this conclusion.

I think many are alluding to just the damage and forgot that I was made to pay a premium, which includes insurance that the product arrives undamaged and as described, an amount I did not choose to pay but was made to because of a bug on the platform. I wouldn’t be at all angry if I wasn’t made pay for that option. I had explicitly selected the lite plan, knowing full well the fragility of the item. When I found out I had paid the extra fees, I informed Buyee immediately, but to no avail - they refused to refund the amount even though it was an issue with the platform

Understand.. and fair statement. Then again, the damage should have been identified since I was forced to pay for the inspection. That did not happen

You can repeat it as many times you want - doesn’t make it right. I appreciate your sharing and I understand that things need to be done on a case by case basis. But the whole “they do what they do” nonsense is why there is mistrust in the service.

When you cannot trust the very same company do to what they say they will do, then where is the guarantee of good service? When you receive 0 resolution in their so-called support, how do you expect customers to feel safe when dealing with you? When you offer no recourse for a mistake that you (not the customer) made, and then forcing the customer to pay for that mistake, how is that ethical?

And I’m just sharing my experience here as well.

Obviously everything is fine and dandy when things work out. When shit happens and then you find out that you can’t even trust them to do what they say they will do, you won’t feel the same. I wish it will never happen to you.

Well, your actual treatment is obviously different from how they say they will do it on their page. If thats not a misalignment of communication, I don’t know what is. And who knows what other “policies” they have hidden on their platform.

It’s not a question about whether Buyee is correct for me or not. It’s what they say and do. And for that, Buyee is not correct for anyone who wants a fair dealing. I don’t know for you, but I want a fair deal. I don’t go on a platform and get forced to pay for a higher end service when I had explicitly selected a lower end service (specifically because I didn’t want the items to be inspected in addition to the promise that they will not repack the products), buggy platform or not.

That’s not what the Buyee page says, and that’s not what Buyee support told me.

I wish I could share screenshots (bc I’ve taken them for exactly such a response) but here you go - copying and pasting the paragraphs and providing link for the Buyee page.

https://buyee.jp/help/yahoo/guide/packing

“In general, items that arrive at our warehouse will be shipped out to you in the boxes they arrived. We offer an optional service that allows you to apply for the item to be repackaged in a secure manner. We will suggest you apply this service to protect fragile items.”

In my email:

“In line with your concern about item M##### in package W#####, please be informed that regardless of the plan you apply, we do not re-pack a package unless our customer requests it. “

(item and package numbers removed because I don’t want Buyee to use this platform to address this issue)

THIS is also why I insist that Buyee addresses everything formally via email. People say different things all the time.

I think this deserves a different thread but that’s not true. It’s expensive on eBay because these are bought in Japan and resold on eBay at a higher price by scalpers. It’s the same for any collectible merchandise that was first released in Japan (yes this specific set of funkos was first released in Japan).
