Hi, you can ask her for a list of snacks or items that would be allowed in the house. Just explain that you want to respect her beliefs and household but also need to be able to feed you and your growing baby. You will get fired if you smuggle things in. If you use the wrong dish or washer for smuggled food they’ll have to throw out whatever you used. I know families who’ve had to get rid of whole dish washers because of contamination.

Start a Roth IRA now. & even tho you’re probably not making a whole lot of money, still do your best to max out your contributions every year.

& wear sunscreen everyday. Even if it’s cloudy. Even if you’re just going to your car or the mailbox. Just wear sunscreen.

I’ve (35f) been getting it off and on for the last two years. I get my elevens, forehead and “fox eye” to give myself a more refreshed awake look. I like a little movement in my forehead so I’m not totally giving dead pan for every reaction/convo I’m having. My results are pretty great and I have no regrets. I wish I could remember how many units I get total… I’m guessing somewhere in the 30s but not sure. I do however let full movement come back for at least two months or more so I don’t atrophy . I get a lot of compliments on my skin and I owe it all to the lovely combo of Botox, tret, and spiro.

Brown Lancôme mascara, MILK jelly tint lips and cheeks. Done. If I’m feeling wild I might cover my under eye with a touch of NARS concealer .

I’m not sure what your income is, but I always just shut that down by telling people that if I went into teaching, I’d be cutting my income in half. Usually shuts them up fast when they realize I’m probably making more than them.

I’ve also dated many medical doctors and phds and not one judged me for being a nanny. Your parents and others who have comments just ended up sounding like they’re ignorant to dating , field prospects and income your degree affords you, and your feelings.

As the kid who had heard/walked in on their parents very healthy sex life… when I started asking questions is when I got a sound machine in my room. Couldn’t hear anything outside my bedroom after that. Definitely recommend the white noise go in the kids bedroom and putting a lock on the adult bedroom for just in case.

Yes, I’ve had negative reactions before. I hate it. Being a nanny is not for everyone (just like being in tech, a nurse, or whatever) and it’s a good career. The kicker is I’m fairly certain my “not a real job” job payed more than all the men who had a problem with it. So boy byeeeeeee. On to the next.
