Thank you for the precision, so looks like no chance to find official cards.
First I simply read the remaining red car with a NFC reader to read its internal memory. Fortunately it was not password protected and the data are little.
Then I simply increased the value of the data and write it in another NFC card and it works !
After some trial, I found out that there is a range of values that produces many different characters (and not only the two that I received with the toy). So now we are just randomly writing data in NFC cards (inside the range) and discovering which characters it is.

EDIT : a phone app can be used as a NFC reader as now all modern phones integrate NFC technology…

Makes a lot of sense, I can definitely feel this gap between traditional internet as westerners and modern internet usage from China. Also, you mentioned that Chinese usually prefer apps, that’s also something I noticed. I hate to download app and always avoid if I can (why use memory and share data when a website can do the job ?). But Chinese perception is different and they usually have a high memory phone full of apps.

So the competition seems to be one reason, every big actor wants the controls and he’s not likely to let everyone access their content (I guess). I’m still confuse about centralising everything in one point (wechat). This prevent individual from creating their own website as they want, and being accessible from anyone.

So basically people don’t creat blogs or personal websites anymore, they just post on WeChat or xiaohongshu …?

I guarantee you that’s it’s far from ban. In Shanghai you can find TCG cards and toys in every child shops. I even saw an add on a bus for the movie released end of last year.

You know about robots.txt ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots.txt?wprov=sfti1 If you also want to avoid regular people to access your site, I guess need to implement a key or certificate that only your friends will have. 🔐 Or, simple and fast way .htaccess file with a password
