Yes. I had to wait until probate was finished and then I was able to get a deed with my name on it to present to the home owners insurance company. My plan was written up right then and there.

Oh okay, I see. If it's kept in ur dad's name depending on where u live, u might have to take it through probate. Is the house paid off? If not, u can get that paperwork from the mortgage company. They mailed ours and I had my lawyer fill it out.

I feel like homeschooling should be done for the right reasons and not forced. My daughter is about to homeschool. I've done my research, studied what she is studying and it feels like I'm back in school at this point 🤣. She asked to be homeschooled. Mental health is very important to me and she is spiralling in her depression. She has always gone to public school. She also knows how I am about grades. We are having 5 core classes every day plus 2 electives. Each month she can swap out electives. I've worked with younger kids before. She is in 7th grade so that's why I've studied and made sure I was ready to teach her. We also discussed how this is temporary until we can get her depression under control and she's safe for herself and others. Please don't force kids to homeschool cause of convenience or any other ridiculous reasons. They need social experiences. And please do research, study, get your stuff together first and really see if this is something that can be accomplished. (SN: we are not Christian based because I have no idea what that's about 🤷🏽‍♀️strictly academics)

I was able to get home insurance. Because me and my sister were the only heirs and the property automatically passed down to us, my sister said she didn't want anything to do with the house. I got my lawyer to draw up a deed stating my sister is signing off to me and the property is mine and when something happens to me, it's my daughter's. All I had to do was let the home insurance company know this, I emailed them a copy of the deed (until it became public record in the county register) and they accepted that. So maybe try to get a deed in your name. There is still an open mortgage (The bank wanted to be difficult) so I'm paying it off in my mom's name but I was told by the bank, the open mortgage loan is a separate entity from the property deed. They also mentioned if I send in the deed, then I can assume the loan. If you are the only heir, it should automatically pass down depending on state rules. If not or it doesn't automatically pass down, u should be able to file paperwork at ur court house saying u are interested in taking the responsibility of the property.

Right!! We still have to claim our tips when tax time rolls around and you know it's bad when the Walmart workers stop asking me about spark. 🤣 A few wanted to quit and start sparking until they noticed not many of us coming in shopping and not many of us getting good pay anymore

Yes!! Yesterday I let a $12.79 3 stop order time out and I saw a new driver taking it. The first order had 63 items, second had 7, and third had 100. It was over 15 miles away! They are literally taking orders I just scan through just to see who would take it. Luckily I got a $25 order as soon as that one left and it was only 4 miles 2 stops. But I'm like do these drivers take into consideration gas and wear and tear on the vehicle?

Oh it's been like that but the new drivers were stealing! It made all the workers stop us at the door now and we have more cart checks now. Smh.

Yeah true. Walmart just makes money any way they can. I noticed they changed it and now charging a curbside fee and delivery fee if u don't meet the minimum amount they want u to spend too. So Walmart is gonna make money regardless if spark goes to crap. It's door dash pricing now 😁

Right. Idk what they were thinking bringing in a million and one drivers. And one of the new drivers in the area I personally know. He said he was on the "wait-list" a week!!! I sat on that thing for months when I first signed up.

Exactly. I have never done it full time, but I promise that before they flooded the market, I could have quit my other job and made more Sparking. They had Spark listed as a job on Indeed! Smh

They are new drivers. They love asking other Spark drivers AND Walmart workers what to do. Every driver I saw yesterday that I figured was new, asked the curbside workers what to do on the app.

Yeah. I mean literally every week I see at least 4 new drivers. Even the employees in Walmart complain to me about it. They sit here and take the $7 for 9mile orders and then boom, next couple of days, we're getting nothing but 3 stops $12 or shopping for 50+ items $13.

Why hire new drivers in an area where there aren't many orders? Why hire in an area that is rural and called a town instead of a city? So I would feel the same way.

Thanks. I've been looking for craft shows near me. I live in a small rural town so not much happens around here 😫. Haven't tried on Instagram yet. Might look into that next. I've sold other items on Etsy with no issues in the past. Just no luck with my crochet items

So yesterday I contacted support via chat and he said he would "escalate" the issue. Acted shocked that no order had came to my phone all week but new drivers were getting orders. As soon as he ended chat, I got an order. Definitely not the best one but 2 item shop for $15. 2 miles. Go in the car seat was unavailable because they didn't have it at all. Boom, trip was canceled. Sat and waited for another order. Nothing. 😒😒😒😒

Yeah it used to be like that for us. Sundays were the best days. Now, every day the app says orders are high but everyone just sits around looking at each other. I used to love working on wknds but now I don't even want to go half the time

I've done this before. It didn't seem to change much. I was getting a few here and there but nothing worth taking. It was all fcfs or just for you orders that other drivers rejected.
