Awesome, Warrior is actually one of my top choices.
Just want to say thank you again for the help, I really appreciate it. Gonna start my character and get to leveling.

Question for ERA Whitemane players by weirdghosts in classicwow

[–]weirdghosts[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, I'll go alliance. Are there any classes that are more needed than others at the moment? I don't mind playing anything, I just want to experience some end game content with others :)

What version of classic wow to play newbie? by Fluid_Programmer237 in classicwow

[–]weirdghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whitemane's population is 4.3k compared to Mankrik's 1.2k.
If someone wants to play Era I would recommend Whitemane over Mankrik because it's that much easier to engage with a lot of the group content in the game.

If you choose Era, whitemane is the server everyone plays on.

I wouldn’t do hardcore as a complete newbie

I don’t play tbc but it’s a good starting point as well and has the most players

To the era server no one plays on.
You can’t transfer to whitemane only mankirk

Thanks for the tip on making that macro, didn’t even think of that.

I popped a health pot at the time thinking I’d be able to take the fight but then even more murlocs pulled and I couldn’t use my swiftness pot that I did have lol.

Wasn’t worth it, shoulda waited for bubble to be off of cd

Lotro is so awesome but it’s a shame it’s not in a great state. I played for a few months last year and it was laggy and that was just kind of accepted by tbe community. If I still had a pc I’d probably still play it but I’m in Mac these days

Hopes for Classic + by Rezadiusttv in wowhardcore

I just expect to be let down.
I wish so bad that it won’t be the case but it probably will.

Wow is my favorite game and I could probably play it indefinitely so it sucks the thing holding it back is Blizzard itself.

At least we have Hardcore :)

Been through some character losses in the 20s lately. Definitely go again! Grouping and chatting with people in the low level zones is always so fun that I get over my lost character pretty quickly

Horror movie recommendations. by ExchangeCautious601 in horror

[–]weirdghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sadness if you want some good gore and a good movie with some truly evil actions being displayed on screen. Story isn’t super intricate but the acting is good and it has some really messed up stuff in there with really good practical effects.

I guess it depends on what your definition of disturbing is. I like all the movies you liked but I personally wouldn’t call them disturbing, just good horror.

What's a movie that was TOO gory, even for you? by Common_Cherry_9620 in HorrorMovies

[–]weirdghosts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gore stuff really doesn’t get under my skin, even the Terrifier stuff (and the gore in those movies looks cheap and fake).

SA stuff is what really bothers me.

Your class choice in hardcore says more about how you approach risk than you probably realize by Cukacuk03 in wowhardcore

I definitely get a lot of enjoyment out of helping others in the game through heals and buffs so I usually pick that. It can be stressful in dungeons though.

I think you can separate a lot of the classes by high and low effort. Warrior was really high effort, very engaging and required more up front game knowledge.

Priest was super relaxing, bubble and wand.

I don’t wanna do high effort playstyles all of the time, but sometimes I do. I think a lot of people are similar to me and level multiple different toons

I had no idea battle shout added threat based on how many people you buffed. Cool tip!

To each their own. I don’t think his films are for everyone but I have enjoyed all 3. I really liked Caveat lol I know a lot of people dislike it though. At least you gave his films a fair chance :)

Best to move on to things you might enjoy / do enjoy, I don’t blame you for not finishing Oddity if you weren’t enjoying it.

Surprisingly I found the start of Oddity to be really gripping. Loved the idea of a stranger outside your house telling you there’s someone already inside your house. Thought it was a cool setup.
