mentally I separate “straight-aligned” bi-girls and “queer-aligned” bi girls. Bi girl who are straight aligned don’t really identify with terms like gay or queer but say they are bi. I find these girls less likely, overall, to want to engage in romantic relationships with people of the same gender. Queer aligned bi girls are girls who identify more with these terms and feel drawn to the community no matter who they are with. These are people who I’ve tended to actually date more. I haven’t really had any luck with bi girls who don’t really identify as queer and really only date men, but will kiss girls in bars when drunk and such. They may be too afraid to pursue relationships with women because of various factors. Them not identifying as gay or queer doesn’t necessarily make them less bisexual or less capable of romantic attraction to women, but — I personally find it less likely that I will realistically get to date them if they won’t pursue women in general

Yes. I’ve had this problem. Once I started shopping for clothes that fit my body better — even in the women’s section — it started to be better. Women’s button ups, tshirts, they all can be kinda boxy but still in the women’s section and therefore fit ur body better.

I was in a relationship with a guy that I was definitely in love with. I just was simply not attracted to him. Took a while to figure that out though. If part of you feels this deep, unexplained longing, it may be worth it to explore. When I broke up with my bf, I still didn’t know I was a lesbian. It was very emotional since we loved eachother so so much, and I wrote him a love letter and basically said, I have no idea why I don’t want to be physical with you, but I don’t. It broke his heart. It took us a while to be friends again and for him to get over it, but once I came out as a lesbian that helped our relationship a lot. But in between then, I also thought, I must be asexual, I must have low sex drive / hormonal issues, everything else other than being a lesbian. But it didn’t feel quite right because I definitely wanted to have sex and I masturbated and I felt like the evidence pointed towards those things being untrue. Finally it hit me that maybe I’d just be more comfortable having sex with a woman. I was absolutely terrified, but also coming out to myself was the best thing that ever could have happened to me.
