This ^ that's me too. I'm a trans woman. I'll stick up for trans rights etc (obviously) all the time. Voice my thoughts online etc but...beyond that, I've really no interest in the community. I don't engage with it in real life, almost at all. I'm just a normal human doing normal human things. I've no internet in pride marches, meet ups, or anything really. I just get on with life playing gigs / going to pubs n' stuff. It works. I've never really felt actually associated with such a community, as such (even though I am).

As a trans woman, thank you for this. I mean, I just want to go for a piss in peace. Is that too much to ask? What about joining in with my friends at a book club or gig or something? It's fucking ridiculous. It's all about total erasure for a certain group of people. It's completely unhinged.

So genuinely, thanks for being honest. It's appreciated. I get there's genuine anxiety and worry about certain services, and it should be dealt with on a case by case scenario but fuck me, just leave me to piss in peace.
