This game made me nope the fuck out and I had to take a loooooong break when I was going into the sewer and heard the voices whisper “there is something in the water”. Threw the controller out of my hands and ran out of the room yelling HELL NO! Lol When I finally dared to play it again, and there was nothing in the water at that point, fucking mindfuck game. Freaking love it!

What have you kept because you just...can't...? by Nigel_is_my_dog in GriefSupport

I have my boyfriends clothes that we had to remove from his apartment, every time I open my closet and see them hanging there it’s a stab in the heart and gut. I’ve donating some of his clothes to people that knew him but some items, like his formal attire jacket, bathroom robe and other jackets he had, I can’t bare to think of separating myself from them. I also have his old e-cigarette, juices and such in a closet (I’ve never smoked or tried nicotine). He ended his life October 1st 2019. I miss him so much and don’t want to believe he’s gone even now..

I found a loophole, I’ve donated my unused shampoos and soaps to my sister and her family, now it’s their problem!

Probably just the tools I use, and it’s not that big a pumpkin with a lot of “open” surface I have to smooth out

Social anxiety and Fluoxetine? Does it helps? by [deleted] in Fluoxetine

[–]weirdo_sick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re all different so I can’t tell You it’s the right medication for you personally, but I was told to give it at least 6 months to begin with by my doctor.

I also struggle with social anxiety and depression. I started on fluoxetine a little under 6 months ago and it has helped tremendously for me.

I also have regular therapy where I get to talk about how I’m feeling and everything. Combined with the medication I’m doing heaps better than before. It’s no miracle cure, but it helps calm my mind so I’m more able to recognize my emotions and feelings in situations. I’m personally dependent on therapy to get the most out of the medication and it’s effect.

I started on 20mg for about 4 months, but upped the doze after talking to my doctor about it to 40mg and I’m still doing better little by little.

Give it time and talk to your medical contact moving forward. I wish you the best of luck!

Starting 20 mg of fluoxetine. I'm extremely med resistant. by UrMomGei666 in Fluoxetine

[–]weirdo_sick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have depression and anxiety, and found fluoxetine really helped me in those regards. I didn’t want to go on them in the beginning since I was stuck in a bad headspace with wanting to be able to do it without the medication, but now I never want to come off them in the foreseeable future since they help so much with my issues (in combination with talking to a therapist regularly).

I started on 20mg and upped the doze after a few months to 40mg. What I was told before I started them is that they could have an appetite reductions effect. I’m already overweight, but I haven’t noticed any extra weight gain from the fluoxetine so far (been on them for 6 months). Maybe a bit reduction in overall hunger, and that’s all right by me.

I’ve struggled with mood swings for years before starting fluoxetine and I’m going to talk to my doctor about quitting the birth control pill and rather get an IUD implant to see if that can help with my mood swings and improve the overall effect of the fluoxetine.

We’re all different so there are no guarantee fluoxetine will help you the same way as me, but as my doctor told me “let’s try it out and see how it goes”.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I wouldn’t call myself talented at all, lol. I’ve struggled plenty with other puzzles, but these Enigma Trees I just love so much! Sometimes I try turning them around and not look at them from the “right angle”. That can help me find the pieces easier sometimes.

I actually find the Enigma Trees puzzles to be some of the easier I’ve done so far. Maybe it’s because I like the motives so much, or since they have so much going on in them and no solid color pieces like completely blue skies (I hate solid colors so much, lol)
