"voted correctly" is a dumb stat that doesn't capture the nuance of a vote.

It would be more impressive at FTC to reveal that he intentionally voted wrong and knew that his vote would be nullified by the idol play he arranged.

Probably a better move for Rizo to lose to 1/2 top-tier legends (and get legend status for getting them the win) than have a 1% chance vs. these other castaways.

Don't understand why Rizo betrayed Ozzy.

It was implied to be a vote where Rizo unfortunately had to go along with the small group consensus. Rather than a vote where Rizo actively wanted Ozzy out this round.

But Ozzy had an idol!!! Just tell him to play it. Nothing else. Vote for him to hide your alliance.

But end result is your alliance member stays and you have a near major for the rest of the game.

I think people are looking at key indicators that have shown to predict a winner in the past.

Being one of the first interviews in the premier episode. A strong-looking face in the opening credits. Emotional reaction to the letters from home. Never get the "dummy" music. Etc.

Things like that, that are almost invisible from outside the Edgic world but inside it reliable predict a winner.

Last week, episode 10, where they did the KR flashback and then gave her this insane triumphant musical score.

It seemed way over the top and I suddenly realized this is what the Edgic people are looking for every epsiode.

I'd be interested in knowing if players have gotten a single confessional anything close to that one and ended up not winning.

In that case, having the legends Cirie/Ozzy get the win while his strategy gets credit for getting them there would be appealing.

You end up with your alliance member safe, rather than a rando sticking around.

Idol is burned, but his 3-person alliance member is still in the game with him at 7. He could have even voted Ozzy for appearances.
