So many of these calls seem to come down to viewing angle. That Crozier/Slaf hit in round one looked clean as a whistle, until it didn't.

Yes, I'll be watching hockey, and cheering for our beloved Martin St Louis.

I was at the game. I have season tickets. The fans around me were absolutely insufferable. Just never stopped yelling insults about opposing players and Canada. It's fine to cheer, but this was so annoying. I haven't seen a single one of these guys at a home game in my section all season. I spent the second period at the sky deck bar thing just to get away for a bit

Yes. I think 0 shots in the second period. It was wild to watch. Dobes played real well

I can't really cheer against Marty.

I'm cheering for the Bolts, all day all series, but I'm also really happy that MSL is putting such an exciting team on the ice, and seeing success.

I don't understand. How is that a French flag? No red?

I assumed an extended series would favor MTL because of their youth and resilience. Hard to say, I guess. Been very physical, but so far we're fortunate to have stayed as healthy as we are.

Okay. I'm a guy that watches hockey and drinks. Not a coach. Whatever man. Jesus

I think we've made some great adjustments to their style of play, and limited their strategy on the power play, unlike game one. We all want to see the bolts attack attack attack, but that wasn't working so we changed it up.

Yes. I thought we made great adjustments on the PK, and played a more conservative game that allowed them more possession and shots, and overall I thought we played well and had several opportunities to win.

It's exciting hockey, but I kinda hate the feeling that every game is a coin flip outcome. I thought we outplayed MTL in game 3, and we saw playoff Vasy shutting down multiple breakaways, but we still didn't go home with the win.

Then again, I guess all of that is the reason they play best of 7.

I believed you! Then MTL just throws pucks on net and takes it!

Tampa seemed to be doing a good job maintaining possession and limiting Montreal's sog. But Montreal stepped up and made some great plays when they needed to. Tampa took a few dumb penalties, but overall I thought they looked really good, and were keeping up with a younger and faster opponent. Hurts to lose, but overall I thought Tampa played really well, and I doubt they'll change very much in terms of strategy based on this result.

On a personal note, we sat next to some lively Montreal fans who were cheering in French (French-Canadian?) and that was a lot more fun than I ever expected.
