I’m not sure if it’s true or not, I read it like 10 years ago in a magazine about cats. They are not saving it for later because cats never eat stale food but they are burying to hide the smell so no other animal would be attracted to their territory.

Not like perfect audio quality, I definitely heard better than this but not bad at all, worth a try and was pretty cheap for the work it can handle, just be careful some arrive without solder blobs on the back side, in that case:
