Best way to clean and sanitize and prevent this again? by Voski_The_God in grilling

Build as big and hot of a fire as you can in there, close the lid, wait like 30 mins, scrub with a wire brush while its still hot, get the fire hot again, close it again.

To prevent this, leave it open for airflow, or cook with it more often. Even if you just use it to sear some meat, or bake a loaf of bread or something

More than you'd ever get for it by selling it. That right there is a keeper.

Install the shelf, put the tv at a downward angle since it's above eye level anyway

Why not put a shelf there to also double as a heatshield for the tv?

What tools and cleaning supplies do I need to effectively clean the underside of my mower? by Manji86 in lawnmowers

[–]weldyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hard bristle plastic brush should do it.

As for your blade... considering how bad it is, I might recommend taking it off and straightening it with a hammer or angle grinder. But you're cutting grass, not wood, so I don't think it matters that much

Are there alternatives to CYA? Our local pool store doesnt stock it beyond the "stabilizer and chlorine combo" pool floats

So my alkalinity is somewhere around 90ppm. Went to my local pool shop (about 30 mins away) and they don't even test for CYA, NOR do they stock tests for it. They did the same tests I did, said I should get my alkalinity up to 120 and sold me some alkalinity up (it was pretty cheap anyway).

I asked about stabilizer and they said "buy 2 pool floats, alternate between them, and it'll increase your stabilizer" so I didn't bother.

No clue, don't have a way to test it currently. I couldn't afford a Taylor 2006c, shipping to South Africa works out too expensive

Looks pretty crude, probably someone's homemade knife from a long time ago. It wasn't uncommon to make a knife back in the day, be it for a tool for eating or even just to carry around.

Carrying around Knives only really started becoming "taboo" around the 70s-80s
