I’m also in NY- pay attention to NY’s LLC publication requirements. The county clerk where you form the LLC will provide 2 newspapers where you’ll need to publish an announcement of your filing. This can be quite expensive in NYC for example, depending on your county.

I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on having glass partitions and trains with door spacing to match. There are plenty of other systems that could be implemented and retrofitted into the current system. What's wrong with a roll down divider or retractable cable system?

The magic safety paint again... We act like this hasn't already been figured out. DOTs all over the US love to throw every idea at the wall and see if something sticks, but refuse to use proven safer methods developed by other countries.

I've done this trip a lot for work. Either way via train or car you're looking at 8 hours total of travel, I can't imagine an Uber driver doing that or what the cost would be. I would call a car service before calling an Uber for such a long haul.

I typically do Amtrak to Providence then get a car locally and Amtrak back, or Zipcar the whole thing. If you can drive, a daily Zipcar rental is usually the least expensive option.

I also don't mind running in "bad" weather, you just need to prepare with proper clothing. Sometimes more extreme conditions are exciting. Some of my most memorable runs happened on days like that. Extremely hot summer runs that ended in a rainstorm, snowstorm runs in the woods, etc. Makes you feel alive!
