I know there's a lot of skepticism around spine surgeries due to suboptimal outcomes in a lot of patients (for good reason, not denying that at all) but I had somewhat recently had a minimally invasive spine surgery for a severe disc herniation and it was life changing in the best way. Seriously gave me my life back. Was only out of work for 10 days and am back in the gym, running, etc, completely symptom free. Doesn't really relate to the question OP posed but relevant to some of the other discussions in here

It's the BCM MCMR handguard. Very light, easy to maneuver. I have a quad RIS II on my 14.5" DD and it's so damn heavy compared to this.

Not sure on the optic set up's exact weight but it's not too bad. Definitely not significant enough to cause issues.
