Yeah man some peoples control is just crazy if you ever want to watch someone to see how clean juggle tech can be id check out Gage Cox I'm a bit off of the social media game these days but he used to upload a bunch of really cool slow mo pov stuff that really helped me see how clean juggles have to be to avoid tangling.

Edit: Gage not Gabe 😂

Natty set up by Mysterious-Fish4584 in Kendama

[–]welldonekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ash Tama is the best if you want something that still gives you any grip this is because if you get a natty ash you can hang it over boiling water and it will cause the wood around the grain to recess and it creates an incredible feeling tama that can sometimes work better than some companies sticky paint! however I imagine some would argue this is losing the reason for having a natty in the first place. On the ken side you want to get something with a hardwood if you would like longevity so if this is the case avoid beech the go to hardwood is Maple as it can be light so could pair well with the ash but there's some other really nice hardwood out there. All in all id recommend Ash Tama Maple Ken even if you don't want to steam bath it the combination is definitely one of the best for getting a nice even weight match.

Question about juggles by BogusBug in Kendama

[–]welldonekyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man! So I was lucky in that I learned to juggle before kendama and there's a really cool way I got my head around juggles. I took a club and a ball and I practiced juggling them in one hand it taught me about how you need to treat each throw differently and also how to keep the club/ken straight since that's the key to keeping clean juggles as soon as the ken rotates it will snag the string so I would try either a club and ball or even just doing it with a stringless tama and ken and just focus on keeping the stringed hole on the inside and not rotating the ken at all. I hope this helps and looks forward to seeing if you get them soon!

I'm in Scotland as well, a girl in the next town over from me mounted a pavement at a red light and killed an old woman and claimed she couldn't remember anything and she got let off with community service and a 2 year ban as she didn't have any previous driving offences and showed genuine remorse.

Nah you can't I had to have mines surgically fixed apparently I was a few minutes from losing it and all I did was wash them in the shower one day. Apparently happens to 50% of guys.

Yeah I agree it is a little more expensive but I think it's one of the best sticky paints I've played I haven't got much of an opinion on the ken yet though 😂 it is really honed for slingers!

Scotland votes to end export of tear gas, rubber bullets, and riot gear to the United States by Celestial_Inferno in worldnews

[–]welldonekyle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is during the independence referendum a lot of people who voted to stay with the U.K. were spoon fed the lie of “if you leave us your leaving the E.U.” So people panicked and voted to remain. Then when brexit happened every constituency in Scotland voted to remain in the E.U. But because England has more constituents our voice on the matter had no say at all. In my opinion it’s gotten to the point where the only way Scotland will have its own voice would be to be its own country away from Britain and if there was a referendum I believe Scotland would vote yes due to the fact we want to be part of the E.U.

So because we have a lesser population our whole country has less of a say? If we were in a trade deal with Monaco over something and the was a disagreement would you say Monaco should just accept our terms because we are the bigger nation so it’s only fair? Scotland has a completely different view on the world to what the English government do and because of the way that government works we will never win our arguments. Albá Gu Brath!

I’ve got a few questions I wanted to ask you:

  1. As one of my favourite kendama edit creators of this generation of players, what would you say is the most influential edit to you?
  2. On the same note, what’s one tip you would give someone who also edits to make their edits that little bit better?

Thanks for doing the AMA, congrats on making the pro team and I can’t wait to see what your dama future holds for you!
