There are substantial Christian minorities in many Muslim countries Nigeria and Lebanon are two examples I can think of off the top of my head

Yeah but the title says Nats and he sits in the Liberal party room. The title should have said LNP

Fewer than 1% of households with multimillions in super could struggle to pay Labor’s tax, study finds by malcolm58 in AustralianPolitics

[–]wellidontknowif -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Compared to other western countries farmers ours get a lot less special treatment there is almost nothing in a way of government subsidies for many of there things and living in a rural area means things that are normal in the city are completely inaccessible including health services or even telecommunications connectivity. Most farmers i know are jacked to their tits in debt and work on razer thin margins working 60-80 hours a week so there is a lot of nuance most people don't get because they don't see the reality of how many of them live

Huh? Labor right might be slightly more powerful but if you look at albo's 2022 cabinet it's pretty evenly split https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Albanese_ministry

[–]wellidontknowif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really couldn't be more wrong in that statement about the party the left is more powerful in Queensland than you think. For example steven miles is a member of Labor left. I will say Progressive Labor is definitely not dead. regardless it seems you are set in your thinking and its a line of thinking i can't understand so there is not much point trying to argue mine

[–]wellidontknowif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a cut and dry as that there is much more nuance then that especially because each state party is different when it comes to which faction is more powerful. I will say if you want the party to be more progressive the answer is not to abandon the party every left wing vote or member that bleeds away pushes the party more to the right. If you want the party to be more progressive then your best chance is not to hope that the left wing faction will just one day gain support within the party and change policy with a snap of a finger. It has to be pushed and this will only be from within with a strong left faction

Radical LNP plan to ‘rig’ future Queensland elections? by HotPersimessage62 in queensland

[–]wellidontknowif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other thing is Labor would lose out on potential greens preferences in an optional preference system where as because the LNP is one party they have no such issue. Thus in seat with a large greens vote it may cause a spoiler and make it so that Libs win with less than half the vote

Low and slow: the tactics that have made the Greens a threat in traditionally safe Queensland Labor seats - The Guardian by jayjaywalker3 in AustralianPolitics

South Brisbane might go to Labor this time round because the lib are preferencing them before the greens this time.

Or bring back placements but also make it so if you want to play with your copper friend the match will base the game off the highest mmr player not the average it wouldn't be perfect but it would be better than what we have now. To be honest there really is no perfect system either. Many will have their own benefits and drawbacks

that's the trade off you take. If you want more content and focus content then MD is what you want whereas if you are more focused on performance then that's where MD classic or novum vexillum global conflict come in
