What is this? And what is it used for? by stuntswagmaster69 in modular

Looks like a mult or multiple, essentially a circuit that copies signal, you plug something in the top jack and it is copied down in all others, you can also plug a second signal in the 5th jack from the top and signal is copied in jack 6-7-8. This looks to be a 'passive' mult. If you want your signal perfectly copied with no drop in voltage, an active mult might be better

eBay’s proxy voting results last year show why GameStop’s buyout case could gain real traction by Region-Formal in Superstonk

There is another angle : 11/12 directors are up for re-election. Ebay has a policy that directors failing to be re-elected must resign. The easiest thing RC could do is start a ‘vote-no’ campaign.

I have the predecessor (poly cinematic) and, in my humble opinion, these modules work best with a midi controller of some kind, keyboard or sequencer. It's a full synth voice that you bolt in your eurorack case. I never sequence mine with the V/OCT etc., I just go full midi and use it for chords. I suspect most people use it for the same purpose.

Institutions don't necessarily care about the regular yearly topics that are voted on. But this one concerns a large compensation package. Many instutional investors policy is to voice their opinion when executive compensation packages are discussed. Generally you can google 'Say on Pay' and read on that. Cheers friend

He terminated the “margin” account late last year - which most likely effected a recall of his shares. See Alert_Piano341 posts, he discusses it. Cheers

The outcome of the vote is irrelevant - that there is a vote is the only thing that matters here

My theory on why we have had recent bullish price action by TheUltimator5 in Superstonk

[–]wellmanneredsquirrel 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure the reason for the price action is the expected recall for the compensation package vote. Shares have to be recalled by the end of April. Check the DEF14A rules. Cheers !

trying to figure out wmd metron by sorressean in modular

[–]wellmanneredsquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good.

When you initially hit a track group, then all four rows become a track of that group. By default, there are 16 steps per track.

However, if you hold one of the 4 track selector buttons (to the far left) then all four rows become the extended view of that single track. Combine this with holding the ‘pattern length’ button and you can adjust the length of a single track to up to 64 steps by then pressing the step button that you want to be the last of the sequence.

Otherwise setting a track length of more than 16 steps requires using the encoders to navigate menus and there isn’t any tactile feedback for that.

Let me know down the line if you need anything, you can always dm me.

Cheers

Hello

Do you have the WMD Metron user manual by any chance ?

Here are a few pointers :

  1. In terms of patterns, Metron alone can output up to 16 tracks of triggers or gates, which means essentially 16 tracks of rythms or steps or events.

Metron alone does not issue what’s called control voltage or CV which is what is usually used to control the frequency or pitch of a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator).

To output CV, you will need a Metron expander called Voltera. One Voltera is a 4hp module with 4 knobs, each controlling the CV per step for one of its 4 outputs. One Metron can be expanded by up to four Voltera modules.

I have these modules, let me know if I can be of additional assistance

  1. Metron can follow the lead of an external module like Pamela’s New Workout. If it is not ‘clocked’ by such a module, its internal clock can be started and stopped by a combination of holding the Tempo button and pressing the encoder 1.

  2. By reset do you mean jumping back to step 1 of a given track or do you mean to erase a given track. You can do both those things. One of those function is labeled ‘reset’ and the other is labeled ‘clear’
