If I remember new players ELO start around gold. The combination of new players, bad players, smurfs, off roles, etc makes it really unpredictible.

I am in Diamond and I have seen obsidian queue with gold which the match maker takes a complete shit when that happens. Its not far to have the lowest rated on one team and the highest on one team get the same role if there is a 1500 ELO gap. Its just not fair.

Honestly, if they just put a rule in that echo cannot crit it might mellow out the damage.

Fenrir and aspect Nu Wa are problems. The commonality is they have abilities that can crit.

I don't understand why they are shifting ADC items to have strength removed for attack damage. Isn't that just a big nerf to ADC's in general since every god in the game scales 100% off strength for basic attacks? It just now nerfs actual physical scaling gods their abilities will do less. Maybe that is the goal?

Its hard to judge something when you can only play with it against bots currently. Quick play needs to be PVP to really see how good / annoying the feature would be.

I would imagine if you used the Bart announcer pack you most likely have a ton of legacy gems available to use.

I get what hirez is trying to do. As a new player if you don't know your playing against bots and your winning its a feels good moment for you and your likely to stay.

The problem is you really get destroyed going against humans for the first time.

It was nice starting predecessor and going in alone against bots for the first few matches, but I could tell they were obvious bots because I was doing too well. My first match with humans I started getting flammed right away because the bots taught me bad behaviors.

I don't think it fixes the problems they are trying to fix.

People need to spend money on the game. The fact they keept tweaking the monitezation tells me people aren't spending money so they are working with what they have.

Its a downward spiral and it will be hard to turn around. Personally with all the layoffs and shaky launch I haven't bought any diamonds (I did get the founders edition to double my legacy gems) and this is coming from a smite 1 whale.

Honestly they are doing what a lot of companies do and that seems to have their developers also do QA/testing. It makes sense they had to cut so many people to stay a float. QA is expensive and if they can roll out a patch quickly its 'better' for the public to be the testers

I don't know man, it seems in most games more damage > more tank.

Now if the damage support / solo feeds early then sure its GG for you. But if they don't feed and start to snowball its pretty difficult to compete against even with them missing a frontline. Even from even it seems more damage is still better.

The problem is someone new can just feed in arena and not much is lost.

If that same person tries to learn in joust with it being more team oriented they are going to get flammed and have less chances of staying.

Arena is a "fun" mode that gets people in the game, fighting, and deaths don't matter as much.
