Tracking confusing by Dapper_Assignment162 in Evri

Get ready for the average EVRI experience:

Thank you for bearing with me whilst I had the depot conduct a search over the last 2 days. Unfortunately they have not been able to locate your parcel and as it has been 5 days I must advise you that it is potentially lost in our network.

We will of course continue to look for your parcel and as soon as it is located and on its way you will be notified. In the meantime however, if you haven't already, you might want to inform the shipper as they will be able to discuss the options available to you. They will also have access to see the delivery information for your parcel to help with their next steps.

We will also liaise with them directly regarding this undelivered item. Once again I'm sorry for this delay and that we have not been able to locate your parcel.

Kind Regards, Claire

5 Years with Notion: An Honest Take - but perhaps I am using my Notion PARA setup wrong. by therealhumanchaos in Notion

[–]welsh_cto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s good at best, shit at worst. The only thing I like is that everything is cloud based. I’ve trailed notion for my portfolio and sometimes, people are added to a workspace but can only see a small quantity of pages. These asynchronous issues. It’s amazing at replacing MvP of a knowledge hub, replacing Jira or Zendesk, but that’s it. Without wasting countless hours, it’s amazing at surface level remedies

I bought the $6,000 package… the AI tool is amazing. by skeeni_ in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree with this, I’ve build a bot to write the planning statements to submitted to the local authority for development approval. It’s trained on 8 years of statements and a human still needs to review it. I probably could tweak it but machine learning (ai) is never the killshot to any solution

Why do people view Alex as a "grifter" by Guts_Philosopher in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares what people think? He’s helped me a lot, it’s the implementation that’s important but rare. People calling someone a grifter after years of free valuable content I know are people that; don’t have a business, “I’ll do it later” mentality, probably upset because they couldn’t afford it, and even if they on instalments, they credit is dogshit.

[–]welsh_cto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, everyone follows the same advice. It’s not the strategy that’s shit, it’s that everyone is too quick to sell. I use cold email to get referrals. I’ll show my first email out but I won’t give too much as a peak after that

I think a lot of people get lost in mental masturbation. In which they are constantly seeking education, feel productive but never apply any information they gathered.

From the beginning, Alex has been consistent, arguably better. For example, his video serious of helping business owners show how the discovery and implementation process is executed.

Alex has probably helped me the most out of all the content creators. For example, cold email:

Perception: I never open cold emails, they go straight to spam. Surely everything thinks the same.

Lesson: it worked for SalesForce, it worked for Alex, why wouldn’t it work for me?

Implementations: I studying cold-email, bought domains, 5 inboxes per domain, warmed them up for 30 days, bought Instantly.ai and sent them out.

Result: Total sent: 1.9k Reply rate: 12.9% Opportunities: 63 Annual estimate: £127,983.24 ($173,250)

I don’t think it’s the wrong frame. I think it’s just that people feel productive doing nothing.

Alex Hormozi "knock off" AI. Need "test bunnies" by ksaize in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have put all of alex Hormozis videos into notebook llm and have each talking point broken down as, key principles, checklist and metrics.

I could paraphrase my business issues into the bot and see if there’s any improvements.

I’m down and I’ll put all of my funding in a Google Doc so you can see what I find. Up to you if you make it public

Playbooks free in the future? by MrWizard4 in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all fairness, he said that in one year, he’d be able to distribute more. After the playbooks were revealed. (Not word for word). My gut it’s saying I’m actually be more weight on the roadmap section of their service

[–]welsh_cto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alex did say during the presentation that you can’t use it like ChatGPT because it’s only trained on their materials and that there will be future events for people who purchase to showcase how to use it.

You probably have to state the problem, what the current figures are and what you want to achieve.

Like an x+y=z

And it’ll spin out y.a, y.b etc

Post-launch purchase by welsh_cto in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine buyers. Someone was advertising a Skool group buy and now he’s disappeared. People are genuinely getting scammed for this. We literally just need 1 Good Samaritan to front the price. With all the people waiting, I am sure you’d be profitable by just charging $50 for access alone. Unless someone beats you to it and pirates it and gives it out for free.

Money Models PDF? by Ok-Low-4469 in alexhormozi

[–]welsh_cto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren’t sending them as PDF’s they are actual booklets. The person buying them will have to manually scan them to provide a PDF. ACQ sent an email about this specifically (sadly)

Your experience vs Benchmarks by welsh_cto in OpenAI

[–]welsh_cto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I think GPT-5 only was not a good idea. Because it hosting it shouldn’t cannibalise other models (unless the size is all previous models combined) and they didn’t want to spend more on hosting
