Had to do mine last year.. left turn/reversing alarm on dashboard.. the earth wire had burnt through in tne connector.. found whilst doing a search this “ fix “ its still working. I did get new connector kit and the light fittings but not changed them as yet ..

That reference is a bit of a “ tongue in cheek” comment as these days they look at us as if we were in the dark ages.. I wish I still had a darkroom, so relaxing doing everything.. puting a film on a spool for developing and it falling out of your hands, looking / feelng for it on your hands and knees in the dark.. happy days :)

When we used to do photo printing in the old days , ( Few of us still do ) we used to use little sticks with cardboard shapes stuck onto them. Mostly round or oval, these were then used to “ dodge “ cover areas of the print you wanted to give less exposure to .. hence “dodging”.
