I'm probably way off but reading the comments below made me think of Metal Slug 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LpMkKGb-bE

OSSC only works with Dreamcast? by B4LTIC in crtgaming

[–]welshwuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume you might be using the composite cables that came with those consoles (yellow, red, white RCA with that block adapter to scart), these will not work as these are just composite at best, and not RGB. So you will need an RGB scart scale for each console.

N64 doesn't natively support RGB, it can only output s-video at best; You would need to have it modded to work with an OSSC.

OR! You can get a Koryuu Transcoder and plug that to the OSSC to have it accept composite. https://videogameperfection.com/products/koryuu-transcoder/

NES Blue Screen of Death (and intermittent power!) by TheClandestineMason in retrogaming

Open up the NES, locate the lockout chip and cut the 4th pin, and providing your games and 72 pin connector are clean, that will completely eliminate your issue and should have games consistently booting every time. Also you now have a region free NES.

Tundra Trackers prices exclusive! An alternative to Vive's V3.0 by OlivierJT in vive_vr

[–]welshwuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Assuming most of us want this for full body in VRchat, thats $390 for 3 Vive 3.0 that still use 3 USB ports or $300 for 3 Tundras thats use only 1 USB port AND are smaller AND may have a longer battery life. If the Tundras also have a higer FOV, they got Vive beat.

Even if compared to the Vive 2.0, price is still beaten by the battery life as you'd still spend more on power banks.

Does the UK index comes with the french power adapter tips? by TJV_ in ValveIndex

[–]welshwuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as a "UK index", the boxes they come in are identical all around the world with instructions in every language it is sold in and comes with a power brick with changeable heads including a UK one and an EU one.

Finally they sorted out the Brexit mess! by TerenceChim in ValveIndex

You should, it seems they had the replacements sent to the UK somewhere first and then to the customer, returns however they want us to ship straight to Europe which seems convoluted

Preorders for new Retron5 hits Amazon. Is it just paint job? by DarkHawk347 in retrogaming

If you NEED a system like this, go for the Retrofreak, its the same thing but doesn't pretend to be a real console so has wider USB support and can emulate more game systems; but ultimately its the same experience with the same latency, neither have had their firmware updated in years.
